Levi was acting crazy. He had his eyes set on me during the whole practise finding ways to trip me over with a stupid smirk on his face; on the third one I pushed him.

"What is your problem?" I asked as the group gathered around us, JB standing extremely close to both of us.

"You! Ina! Are you serious right now?!" I smirked at him wondering why he was getting so worked up about it.

"Yes so?" He shook his head vigorously.

"Well you need to stay away from her."

"No, she is my girl and you better get it straight. It isn't happening."

"You know what this could do to your reputation." I laughed like it would do anything to him.

"Are you sure that's what you care about? Because I think there's more. Well tough, I like Ina. She's nuts, funny smart and lovely. I think she's cute too. I can't believe you did not see any of this while you were 'dating'." He gritted his teeth, I had a feeling or so he may like Ina more than he had let on, I'm guessing he me might have developed feelings for her during the whole bet phase. It was the way he talked about her in such a horrible way constantly and constantly, he never stopped. I had pushed it to the back of my mind because I thought it wasn't possible after what he did to her but this may confirm everything, but I wouldn't let him near her not a chance, I would be the one to mend the scar he left behind. He had his chance but he destroyed it to prove a point.

"You are so stupid." I pushed him again. "I knew you liked Ina from the beginning, you were always staring at her when none of us where looking. I thought Ina why Ina? So I came up with the bet but you still allowed me to hurt her, she was a pretty good lay even for ugly Ina." I punched him so hard in the face, I heard a bone crack, then it turned into a full out brawl. All I remember was JB pinning down, my knuckles coated in Levi's blood and my mouth releasing strings of curses at him.

Ina stood at the nurse's door way looking at me; she quickly set her book down taking a seat beside me. She slightly pressed on my knuckle making me hiss.

"Sorry it hurts."

"I heard you were defending my honour." She smiled and I did too.

"Yes well I am a knight." I flexed my muscles and she shied, I don't think me being shirtless was helping her either because she was avoiding my gaze and biting her lips. I noticed she did that either when she was nervous or uncomfortable.

"Stop it."

"I'm just showing you I can protect you."

"It seems you're the one that needs protection." I shrugged. "I don't want you fighting because of me."

"Ina." I lifted her face. "Don't knock my ego. I know you can protect yourself but I don't give a damn who it is, they talk trash about you I'll be there to knock them down a couple of pegs." I kissed her cheek even though I wanted to stray to the right, landing my lips on hers but I wasn't going to push it. "I like you, this isn't a joke for me, I want to introduce you have my parents." She gaped with a wide mouth.

"Isn't that too soon?"

"Nope, and I don't care. I don't want to be waiting six months and doing the six months invitation."

"The six months what?"

"It's a thing my dad and my mum came up with, for me and my brother. If you aren't dating for at least six months, don't introduce the 'lucky' girl to us." she laughed.

"That's quite cool; I didn't know you had a brother."

"Yes I do, his name is Laos, and he is 24 but he doesn't live with us, he is in Italy with my grandparents."

"I have an older brother too and an older sister. My sister is at university and I live with Mackendrick and my parents." I put my arms around her and she went rigged.

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing."

"Tell me."

"Can I be honest?" I nodded as she chewed on her lips, watching the movement, the way she licked her lips too.

"I feel awkward about us because Caleb you are popular, I'm just me and so many girls you could choose from. I don't know how to explain what I mean. It's just guys like you don't go for girls like me." She looked down. This was going to be harder than I thought, I realise no matter how confident Ina seemed, she lacked self esteem to the point where I could see it, and she has never voluntarily looked me in the eye.

I always thought it was admiring how she didn't care about what other people thought of her but I was a fool she did in some respect. Don't get me wrong Ina was still the crazy girl I know with a loud mouth who didn't care but underneath that hard shell somewhere she was vulnerable, vulnerable with love because after all guys like me and girls like her didn't mix. If this was back in the olden times, it was about status and wealth and in this times it was about appearance, I don't know which is worse and I don't give a damn on how she honestly looks, it doesn't bother, I'm getting to know her now, know who she is.

"Girls like you and me don't mix in a fairytale world but this is reality we live in, and reality has no expectations but society does and that's where the problem lies. We form our own rules and regulations, but others won't agree with them or like them. Our relationship is cold and frozen all icy all over. Someone is waiting for us to slip and land straight on our asses." The nurse came in with a spare shirt handing it to me because I had blood all over the other one and went back out again.

"I'm not even going to coat it we are going to get hate for our relationships and there will be people who will love us. At the end of the day I don't care because if my family loves you they are all that matters and JB too. We can't please everybody but I want to make this work, this is like the second week we have fully been comfortable around each other. It is still awkward between us but we got past that yesterday and we had a laugh. I have fun with you, I can have a deep and serious conversation with you, and most especially I feel comfortable with you.

Ina this might sound crazy but you have to decide now are you in this with me or not? I don't do half let's try or half let's not. It's either we make a risk and go for it or we don't. Montego's don't fall half way we fall hard." I grunted causing her to chuckle. "That means not giving a shit about other people, as long as I have my eye on you, they can stare right at us for all I care. If they don't think you are good for me and I am good for you, they need to go fuck themselves because last time I checked it was me and you in this not them and us. I promise you Selina James I will treat with the respect you deserve, treat you right. Just worry about me. Alright?" She nodded with a smile, the dimple on her cheek visible. She pulled me by shirt towards her.

"Thank you." She pecked my lips, leaving the nurses office as the bell rang.
