WHEN I SAY ITS ABOUT TO GO DOWN! ITS ABOUT TO GO DOWWWWWWWNNN!!!!

I hate him! I hate him if it hits the green, and I love him if it hits the red. I threw the last dart as Marcus and MacKendrick came into my room. It hit the red.

"Hey little girl." I rolled my eyes at Marcus.

"I'm not little."

"Ok smelly Selina."

"Ugh you are so immature."

"I know. That's why we terrorise you. Get dressed you are coming out with us." I agreed since I was bored anyways and my brother and cousin seem to be in a good mood. We got to the supermarket and began throwing things in especially Marcus who had an appetite of a horse, our trolley ended up bumping into Mr. G's- Caleb's stepfather.

"Ina, nice see you around here."

"Hello Mr G." My brother stood protectively eyeing him. "My bad, this is my brother MacKendrick and my cousin Marcus, this is Mr G, Caleb's stepfather." My brother raised an eyebrow.

"For real?" Mackendrick asked.

"I have the apricot jam and straw-berry." Caleb was holding two jars looking between us I was still angry with him. Just then Marcus stepped up to him and I watched the colour drain from his face. Marcus was huge!

"Who did you ask to date Selina?" I rolled my eyes as Mr G tried to contain his amusement.

"No one. I asked her permission of course.

"Let's just get a few things clear. Hurt her, you hurt yourself, make her cry,you cry yourself because if I catch you it won't be pretty."

"Sorry about that Mr Goodfellow, no disrespect." My brother said as he dabbed him.

"No its fine, it's protocol. Besides he is the same with Rayan. Would you like to come to dinner at our house Ina?"

"Sure what time?"

"For 7.30."

"That's cool, I'll be there." I didn't even say goodbye to Caleb and they sure noticed. I didn't care right now. You coming up with multiple bruising with no explanations and expecting me to just ignore it, what's up with that?

---

"Trouble in paradise?" MacKendrick asked as he poked his head into my room.

"Why?" I still had two hours before I had to be at Caleb's.

"It's obvious. Now tell me." He demanded.

"He is just, I don't know. He has bruises, random ones from black eyes to painful ones and he won't tell me how he got them." He laughed slightly.

"No wonder, Marcus told me he looked like he was wearing foundation, that maybe homeboy plays for the same team but I said no." That extreme?

"Foundation?! But first do you think I'm overreacting by ignoring him."

"Well it depends on why you are ignoring him."

"Because he won't tell me, I don't want to see him get hurt."

"But he is getting hurt, whatever it is. Look men hate being weak, now if someone was hitting me and I was defenceless I would hide it, why because it's better to do nothing than tell someone. That is a man's pride. Whatever is going on if you think it's bad, it is your duty to find out, to pry. If my girl was coming up with bruises, I will find out why, I won't wait for answers. The thing about being in a relationship with someone is that, it's a ship  at the end of the day and you are both on it, sometimes we jump overboard, to push the ship forward. We can't always save ourselves that's why we rely on the other person to save us when we are drowning." I nodded.
