Everyone stayed away from Levi, news from Friday night had gotten round because he spent most of his time alone with a huge bruise sporting his jaw and walking with a limp.
After my brother took Levi they made him give up the rest of the 'so called evidence' and then took him to the police station. My brother's boss brother worked there and made a promise to my brother to rough him up before releasing him. Levi begged tears streaming down his face but I was past caring. I really did not want to know.
"Can we talk?" Caleb looked a little nervous as we moved to the side leaning on my locker.
"I want to apologise for hurting you. I should have paid closer attention to you." I shook my head.
"Even if you did, I would have still played everything like it was fine. It wasn't your fault so don't apologise, we are still getting to know each other, you couldn't have known." It was quiet between us.
"Ina, are we-"
"Yes we are Caleb. I forgive you, I can't be bothered to fight about this when we weren't both to blame." I loved seeing him smile, it was like he was at his happiest when he did. Those dimples, we were dimple buddies.
"Come on let's go." He grabbed my hand as he led me towards the parking lot. "We are skipping."

"Put the mushrooms in the trolley." I scrunched my nose up. Ew. I sat in as he pushed us around the big centre.
"You don't like mushrooms?"
"It's slimy."
"Ok fine we'll chop it finely. Next on the list- salmon. Really Ina? I hate salmon." We clashed a lot in terms of food choices.
"I think we should get two separate trolleys."
"Fine but I'm having this one."
"No I am." I raised my eyebrows he did the same. Just then a woman was in our aisle with an empty trolley as soon as her back was turned Caleb stole the trolley running off, I caught him with him.
"So immature."
"It was a free trolley besides I'm not complaining and neither should you."
