Chapter 15

The fight was finally over, all grimm dead and most importantly, the mage dead. Tai was still asleep and Orion was a little dazed since he was still not used to using time magic.

After the battle was over, Gil went over to Tai and picked him up, she took him to where Professor Remi was and laid him beside her so Avalon could heal him to.

As she was about to go, she was stopped by the teams

"Hey! hold up there Gil" said Raven as Gilgamesh turned towards her and sneered

"That is Gilgamesh to you mongrel" Gil said as Raven was taken aback by that

"Oi, no need to be rude priccy" Raven retorted as Gilgamesh grew a ticmark

"If you try to say one more rude thing to me, I will put a weapon through you chest." Gilgamesh said with her overflowing anger as the teams fell silent

"Miss Gilgamesh right? can you answer our questions?" asked Summer as everyone was a little worried

"Oi Orion, I am going to reveal it to them, Tai said he was gonna reveal it and wanted to ask if you are okay with it" said Gil as Orion nodded

"What is 'it' may I ask" said Glynda

"Magic" Gilgamesh said as they were dumbfounded

"Magic? like the one in fairytales?" said Qrow as Gil nodded

"Yes, Magic is real and a few people in the world have it" Gil said as everyone was shellshocked

"So Tai and Orion have magic and can use it?" said Summer as Gilgamesh nodded

"Yes, Orion has the magic of the Dragon of Transcendence while Tai's magic is very confusing." Gil said as Glynda asked

"How is it confusing?" Glynda said

"From what I first thought, I thought he was just a magecraft user and not a true magic user. If I am going to be honest, Orion's magic is closer to magecraft than true magic." Gil said as orion was dumbfounded

"What is magecraft?" Orion asked as Gil explained

"Magecraft, to put it simply is a way to use mana through magic circuits, anyone with mana can become a mage craft user or more precisely a magus, but people her who have magic can't due to restrictions put on them by the Gods" Gil explained

"I see........ but how can Tai use it? and more importantly why did you think it was magecraft but in reality something else." Orion asked as Gil shrugged

"Tai can definitely use magecraft, he has used it many times but his tracing, it is not magecraft, it is more closer to true magic. His power is to perfectly copy and recreate whatever he sees, that is the only magic allowed to Tai" Gil said as everyone went wide eyed

"So the only 'magic' Tai can use is his trace?, the rest is his magecraft?" Orion said as Gil nodded

"Yes, he is quite the magus for his age, he can use various different types of magecraft which is quite impressive even by my standards. on another note, The only thing limiting his magic is his inability to trace something that is not solid." Gil explained as everyone nodded

"Moving on...... how do them both even have magic?" asked Glynda

"Tai explained to me that the dragon's spirit was sealed inside me, as for his magic I don't know" Orion said

"How Tai obtained magic is a mystery to even me" said Gil as Glynda sighed

"I will ask him myself." she said as they continued the discussion

"What is you and Tai's relationship?" asked Raven as Gil looked at her and said

"He is my Master" said Gil as everyone became shell shocked

"Damn, didn't know Tai was into that stuff" said Qrow as Gil got a blush 

"Not that kind you mongrels, I am a heroic spirit and I am contracted to him" said Gil while also calming down 

"Heroic spirit, ARE YOU A HERO FROM A BOOK!?" asked Summer with stars in her eyes and Gilgamesh backend a little, uncomfortable from the silver rose.

"Not from a book, I am a real hero" Gil said

"Wow, what did you do to become a hero." Summer asked as Gil sighed

"Originally, the legend of my journey of immortality was what gave me a place in the throne of heroes, a hero is not one who has done good, a hero is one who is remembered through history for their feats" Gil explained as Summer nodded with a sadder look

"Do you happen to the know of this 'Man who stands atop a hill of swords'? "asked Glynda as Gil nodded

"Yes, he was talking about Archer from the 5th Grail war" Gil said Orion asked

"5th grail war? what's that" Orion asked

"That's a story for another time, Archer is someone even I don't know much about, the only relation I know between them is that Tai's tracing is directly inspired from Archer's magecraft" Gil said as everyone nodded

"Why would Tai be afraid of him? how strong was he?" asked Levi

"If I were to be honest, Archer was probably the weakest servant during the war, why Tai would be afraid of him, I have no idea" said Gil as everyone nodded

"Well I guess that was all with questions, I think we should get out of here, and we should probably check on the pilot, we forgot about him" Glynda said as they picked up Professor Remi and Tai and took them inside the bullhead

When they checked on the Pilot, the pilot was dead due to neither having Tai's barrier or aura, they payed their respect and started to plan on what to do.

"I can use my Vimana to get us back to beacon, but we will have to get off a little farther from beacon so no one finds about me." Gil said as everyone nodded

"I have 2 questions, what is a Vimana, and why is it such a problem to show magic?" asked Summer

"Vimana is my plane, and the problem with showing magic is that many people want magic and many people want to get rid of magic. Revealing it will just bring a lot of trouble for everyone." Gil explained as Summer nodded

Gil summons her Vimana and they make their way back to beacon, it was gonna be a long while when Tai wakes up.
