Chapter 14

Today was a small mission for us, probably our last on field mission until our second year. It was a Joint mission between our sister teams of TRQS and GLOW.

The mission was supposed to be a simple grimm extermination, it appears that there is a gathering of grimm near a abandoned colosseum. 

I have a suspicion that a stronger grimm is gathering the Grimm there, I was quite afraid that if that was the case, which grimm could do that?

I gathered my team and we met up with team GLOW near the bullhead.

"Guys, are you ready?" I asked as they all nodded with varying levels of enthusiasm

"Before the professor arrives, I just want to voice a suspicion, a lot Grimm are gathering in area, there should be reason for that, I think there might be a leader grimm." I voice out my suspicion and they all nod

"You might be correct, we have to first reach there and check if that is the case" Glynda said as the voice of reason

At that I nod, I start making a mental link to Gil

'Gil,are you there?' I asked in my head as she responded

'Yeah I am here, what about it?' Gil said as I sighed inside

'I am gonna reveal you to the teams' I said 

'Wait WHAT, after all that trouble of keeping me a secret, you just throw it away?' Gil said as respond

'I know I can trust them now, and I don't want to lie anymore, they deserve to know the truth' except the fact that I know them from fiction, that is a lie that I have to protect.

'I see...... I understand, how do you plan on doing that?' she asked as I simply said

'Probably after the mission' I said as she said ok.

The teams stand their for bit, making some small talk.

After a while of waiting, Professor Remi comes towards us.

"Hello team Trqs and team Glow, how are ya'll doing." she said as we give the usual we are good

"This mission is a grimm extermination, I will be doing the job, you all can see and learn and also fight a few of them." she said as we groaned, Professor Remi always takes the action for herself

"Well, what are you guys waiting for? hop on the bullhead" she said as we nodded

We all got on the bullhead, and we made our way to the destination

"The place of the mission is a desolate colosseum, it is one of the surviving structures of the ancient city Flaxan, the city was conquered in the past and due to the place having a scarcity of resources, it was abandoned." Professor Remi explained as we all took in the information

"Miss, when and why was the kingdom conquered?" asked Summer

" It conquered during a time when Vale was newly formed, why it was conquered is a interesting subject, the Flaxan kingdom were not destroyed by the people of Vale to be exact." Professor Remi explained as we all were confused, how was it conquered if the kingdom to annex it didn't attack it

"The people of Vale and the Flaxans were friends, the reason they had to conquer Flaxan was because the Gods said so." Professor Remi said

"The Gods?" I ask, my curiosity peaking

"Yes, the text says that The Gods had the Flaxan kingdom destroyed because of quote " Going against the heavenly principles" un quote. It is a subject which doesn't have  much information on it" Professor Remi said as we all were at the edge of our seats
