Chapter 11

Chapter 11: A Spell

"Okay Bob now that we have the items, what does the spell do?" Emlyn asked. Emlyn, Stella, and Bob sat in one of the small tea rooms of the castle. They wanted to make sure they had everything ready before they ventured out.

"Well let's see." Bob inspected the morse code on the paper.

"It says "This spell will send someone to another dimension. The dimension will be random however if you have all the items this spell can be reused 5 times.""

Bob replied as he read the text. Emlyn nodded slowly, "Well let's keep the items just in case maybe they'll be useful."

"Alright that means we need to head to the fire lands right?" Stella asked standing up inspecting the map.

"Yes I'm going to speak with Horrace first though." Emlyn left without another word and met Horrace in the garden for once instead of in the throne room.

"Hello Emlyn." He said without even glancing her way as he stared at the poppies growing in a small flower bed.

"Hello Horrace, what's so interesting about the poppies?" She asked him and he smiled.

"I was going to suggest you take them with you, they could be useful." He suggested this in more of the form of a statement of not they could be; but more of they will be.

"Sure I'll take them." She collected the 6 poppies in the flower bed then turned face Horrace. "I have to ask you something..." She trailer off a little.

"Yes the spell has that potential, the spell is randomized but it however can only send you to a realm you don't want to be." He responded he already knew what she wanted to ask.

"What places could it send me to?" She asked him and he chuckled.

"Well the spell is rather odd but it could send you even back in time. To realms that used to exist but no longer do. So you have a chance of landing yourself somewhere in the 1900s." He responded and Emlyn nodded.

"Okay where else?" She replied casually pretending like the thought of ending up way back in time didn't bother her.

"Well you could land in America or it can even send you back here. The only other realms I know of are Aurora realm which is a place much like ours, and then the Mor ti Verara realm, meaning Love is Everything." He said slowly as he recalled it slowly.

"Is there anything I need to be wary of in these realms if I end up there?" She asked.

"Well know you have 5 uses of that spell, one will send Camilla away the rest can send you to any of the 5 realms. There is a catch however. If you collect extra items you can use the spell again 5 times. If you keep trying I'm sure you'll eventually end up home." He said and then paused to make sure she was listening then continued. "Now I can tell you much about if it sends you back in time, be prepared for anything."

"What about the other ones you said?" She asked hoping he knew something about them.

"Aurora realm is actually a wonderful place, my good friend Zelda is ruler there. If you need help go to her." He suggested and she nodded so he could continue. "Mor ti Verara is also a nice place depending on where you land, if you do land there look for two girls Alissia and Crysta, they'll help you." He said and sighed hoping the only place she landed was home.

"Alright thank you Horrace, I better get going though." She turned but saw someone behind them, "Harriet?"

Horrace turned as well surprised by her presence, "Hello Emlyn, I'm here to give you this," she handed her what appeared to be a journal. "Don't worry it's in English but it talks about someone's journey with the spell."

Emlyn took it and flipped through the pages seeing how it described how to collect the items, "This is perfect thank you Harriet." Harriet only nodded and turned to leave but Horrace spoke up.

"Wait don't leave, please stay here for a while." He knew something but neither of them wanted to ask.

"I'll be fine Horrace don't you worry about me, I can handle myself." She left and Emlyn patted Horrace on the shoulder before doing the same.

"Alright Inferno the group is already in the fire lands so let's meet them there." Emlyn told the faithful dragon as her, Stella, and Bob climbed on top of him.

"Of course, hang on tight." He lifted into the air and flew through the air towards the fire lands.

They arrived and landed in front of the group and they climbed off. "Alright guys does anyone know where I can find some Chimera's?"
