Chapter 18: The Battle Of Autumn Falls
"Wow this place is pretty!" Emlyn said as she looked at the beautiful red, orange, and yellow leaves surrounding a beautiful waterfall. A village tucked right beside it.
But it's beauty only lasted a moment as a fireball came soaring right into the center of the village. "Does that girl know how to do anything but fireballs?" Bob said sarcastically and everyone shrugged.
"What's the plan this time?" Stella asked and Emlyn thought carefully.
"I have an idea!" She climbed to the top of one of the buildings so she was standing above Camilla and shouted at her. "Hey Cam up here!" Camilla turned and looked super pissed off.
"What the fuck did you just call me?" She said and Emlyn held her crown in the air.
"Look what I have." Camilla responded by throwing a fireball at her. Emlyn moved fast and threw the crown into the fire and dove out of the way.
"No!" Camilla ran up and saw her tiara in dust but in its place stood a ghostly figure of a black unicorn.
When Camilla made the crown out of Shadow Moon's heart it trapped her soul inside. Now that her soul was free she was about to get a little revenge before she passed on.
The ghost of Shadow Moon lifted herself in the air. A red leaf, a pink flower, a snowball, and a blade of green grass circled around her horn. The elements created there own kind of magic that blasted Camilla all the way back to her castle.
Camilla soon found her castle was covered in vines, with thorns, poisonous flowers, and sharp jagged pieces of ice. The seasons can be beautiful but also dangerous. Shadow Moon landed and faced the group, "You need to hurry and get your last items, the spell will only last 24 hours because I am merely a spirit."
She came over to her mother and nuzzled her, "I love you Shadow Moon." Mystic told her and Shadow Moon stepped away.
"I'll always love you." She vanished and Stella took over.
"Ok so her Alexandra's castle is all the way over there." She pointed far off into the distance to a bright red and white castle dripping with gold at every turn.
"Well I can tell she likes the finer things in life." Emlyn said and Sarah chuckled.
"Wait till you see it up close, shes terrible. I'm sure it will take all of us to get that damn jewel." They headed towards her castle knowing the journey would take them the longest.
"Let's hope this goes well, we don't have time to waste." Emlyn responded and looked back at Camilla's castle worry painted on her face. Camilla was a challenge to face but with a name like Alexandra the Great, how hard would it be to face her?
