Chapter 5

Chapter 5: The Battle Of Winter Wonderland

Emlyn and the group reached the dragon lands and Emlyn cautiously approached Inferno's cave. "Hello? Inferno! It's Emlyn!"

She heard a stirring at the end of the cave and a puff of smoke came billowing out towards her. She coughed and swiped the air with her hand to clear the air. She looked up to meet her favorite dragons eyes. "Hello Emlyn, what can I do for you?"

"We are going after Camilla," she motioned to the group behind her, "I wanted to enlist the help of the dragons or at least you if you are up for it?" She asked him and he smiled and nuzzles his head against her.

"Of course Emlyn, I'm happy to help. However we will only bring the other dragons in if we need them, we don't need her attacking her and she won't if the most of the main leaders are here." He said and she smiled and stroked his nose.

"Thank you, now we are off to uh... Where is it Stella?" She looked back at her friend who chuckled.

"Winter Wonderland, though it's usually beautiful it hasn't been lately. I've heard it's quite a disaster." She responded and the Ice Queen piped up.

"I'm sure I can help with something if it involves snow or ice." She smiled and Emlyn nodded.

"Thank you Ice Queen." However the queen glared at her.

"I have a name... It's Sarah!" She said a bit loud and annoyed and everyone laughed.

"Sorry my bad." Emlyn responded and then began walking back towards the path which led farther into the Badlands. "Shall we continue?" The group nodded in agreement and followed her.

"It's a blizzard here!" Sarah shouted and the others just to stay grounded as the wind tried to sweep them away. Hail was flying at them and everyone was shivering.

Sarah set to work trying to control the blizzard but it all of a sudden stopped and about 10 feet away stood Camilla.

"Well hello Emlyn, I was wondering when you'd come to see me again." She said as she flipped her hair.

"What do you want Camilla? Why are you here?" Emlyn asked casually as if it was even important.

"What do I want? Why am I here? You stole my crown! You stole my life! I didn't ask for this! You know you're really selfish! Just had to be the main character in your own book." Camilla went on a little tangent and Emlyn sorta felt like she was right.

Was Emlyn selfish for what she did? She could have made Camilla not just the antagonist but someone who grew and changed. Did it really make her selfish for wanting to be her own main character?

"What if I rewrite your ending Camilla? I could make you happy! We can change the story together!" Everyone looked at her like she was nuts and Camilla just burst out laughing.

"The only thing going to make me happy is to see your head on a wall, and that crown on my head!" She rose into the air and magic filled the air.

About 100 demonic soldiers surrounded them and the group took to battling. Stella threw her knives at them never missing and took several out. Sarah began to freeze them in place taking down there number quite quickly.

Mystic lit her horn and blasted several of them off into the distance. Inferno took a deep breath and blew fire on about 20 of them and watched them burn and well then there was Bob...

"You know I think you need a new wardrobe, why would you want to look like everyone else so boring." He said and pretended to flip hair that he didn't have.

"Excuse me, your one to judge! What are you even wearing?" The demon had been taken aback and insulted Bob right back.

"I'll have you know this is the finest Santa shirt you will ever see!" Bob punched him in the face and the demon looked confused, but vanished thinking Bob was crazy as fuck.

Emlyn turned back to Camilla who looked annoyed and defeated, "Fine you win this one! But I'll be back and you will regret it next time!"

She vanished in a cloud of red and black smoke and Emlyn sighed, "I don't know what we are going to do about her, any ideas?" She asked and the group looked around at each other unsure.

"Maybe the village will know something." Stella suggested and pointed to the village up in the distance and the group headed in that direction.

"It looks terrible here, we need to help them fix this place up before we do anything." Sarah spoke softly and the group agreed.

"Yes we need to help them and we can ask them questions later, for now let's get busy. I doubt Camilla will come back here." With that they set to work.
