Chapter 21

Janae's POV:

We arrived at the resturant and I got out the car so I could open the door for Cayla. When she got out she looked at the place and then back at her outfit. "Ummm.. Janae... You should of told me I dressed to fancy." Cayla said while walking slower.

"Don't worry there is nothing wrong with your outfit. We're not even staying. Just going to order our food and leave." I said with a smile on my face.

She looked at me then sped up a little. "Janae please tell me we are going somewhere safe because I don't want to end up missing again." she said quietly. I held her hand while we walked inside and turned to face her. "Cayla as hurt as I was when you told me that stuff I shall not mention, I wouldn't do anything crazy like that to you after what you've probably been through with Quantell." I told her truthfully.

"Okay...thank you." she said and bent her head down. I lifted up her head and kissed her softly on her lips.

"I'm not Quantell okay?"

"I know Nae..." She smiled and we walked further in to order our food so we could go to our real destination.

We got our food about 20 minutes later and headed back to the car. I was so hungry and I know Cayla was too because we started munching on the appitizers we had got. "Oh my gosh we aren't even supposed to be eating this stuff..." I said taking another chicken strip.

"But you're here eating the damn chicken strips!" She laughed. I started laughing as well and soon we pulled up to our destination.

"Why are we back at my mom's house?" She asked. I looked at her and smiled then got out the car with the bags of food.

I went around and when I opened the door for her she looked at me like she was waiting for an answer. "Nae why are we back at my mom's house?" She asked again.

"You'll see." I replied and took her hand in mine. We walked up the walkway and she opened the door to pure darkness. "I thought my mom would of been home by now..." She said.

"I told her my plan and well she stayed out a little longer."

"You spoke to my mom? When?!" She yelled scaring me a little.

I chuckled and looked at her. "Well I called the house phone this morning and she answered and I told her what I wanted to do with you tonight." I said.

She smiled and kissed me on my lips a few times then I told her to go to the dining room.

I took out the food, lit some candles, got some wine glasses and set everything on the table. "Nae this looks so romantic." Cayla said while walking into the room.

"I want it to be."

"Do you even do this for Octavia?" She asked crossing her arms.

"No but please don't say her name again tonight. It's just me and you." I said because I didn't want to feel guilty for anything during this dinner. She nodded her head 'yes' and took a seat at the table.

We finished our food after talking about so much that has happened while we were away from each other for those few months.

She told me about how Quan was being so disrespectful and how she escaped. Also how she really hopes he goes to jail but she wants Gabi to be able to see her father once in a while. I really felt bad for what she had to go through because I went through it and it wasn't the best dealing with someone who was so abusive.

"Janae thank you for everything. I really didn't expect for us to reunite like this. Even if we're friends." She smiled and looked at me for a while.

"You're welcome Cay." I smiled remembering I haven't called her that in a while. "You called me Cay!" She screamed and jumped on me then kissed all over my face. I held her by her waist and started tickling her.

"Ahhhhh! Naeee stoppp!!" she yelled and I tickled her some more. She got off me and I lifted her up and took her to her room with her telling me where to go.

"I'll be back let me go freshen up a little." She said and left me in the room by myself.

Sometimes people come into your life for a reason and I feel like Cayla may have hurt me, but she taught me to be more careful in relationships and to really pay attention to your significant other. Like what I'm doing now with Octavia...

I heard Cayla get out of the bathroom and when I looked up she was standing there in this sexy light pink lingerie. "Cayla? Umm..." I was speechless because of the way the pieces of lace hugged her curves so well.

"You like?" She asked turning around slowly feeling up and down her body. "Mhmm." I nodded my head 'yes' because words weren't able to come from my mouth.

"I saw it in Vicki's and had to get it." She said walking over to me. I looked at her and licked my lips but then I realized that I was in a relationship and I didn't want to hurt Octavia like I did the first time. "Cayla I want to be with you but I just can't right now. Like I want to make love to you but... I don't want to hurt Octavia..."

"Like I did to you huh? I understand. I don't want you to go through what I did. Suffering all those months with someone that doesn't care about me." Cayla said.

I looked at her and remembered all the hurt she caused me. "What you did. I would never forget. Eventually I would forgive you fully. You're right though. I don't want to end up in your situation and hurt Tavia's feelings." I told her truthfully.

She looked at me with sad eyes and I could feel that she was hurting too. I could tell she was genuinely sorry and she really missed me and still had a lot of love for me. "Can you take off that outfit please. We could cuddle if you want but seeing you in that makes me want to wooo!"

She started smiling and went to the bathroom to change. I took off my shirt and pants leaving me in only my panties and a sports bra.

"You got any of my clothes?" I asked thinking that she would of taken one of my shirts.

"I have your basketball shorts..."she replied walking in the room only wearing a t-shirt.

"Is that my-"

"Yes. It is." Cayla said cutting me off.

I took the basketball shorts and put them on then jumped in the bed with my legs open.

"Come baby let's cuddle." I pulled her onto the bed and placed my arms around her waist when she got close. "I love you Cayla don't forget that." I told her and kissed the back of her neck.

"I love you too Janae."

Her sweet words kept ringing in my ears and my heart started to feel weird. I'm starting to think that I'm falling in love with her again.

Octavia's POV:

This girl has not called me since she told me she was going away for the weekend for her job. I'm starting to get worried that things may have turned on me so I have created a plan to get rid of that bitch for good.

"Cayla I love you blah blah blah." I mumbled to myself. Janae is going to really fall in love with me after I tell her a few things and she would have no choice but to be with me once the ugly b*tch is gone.
