"I want you out of my life," I told her.

She smiled at me and replied, "Do me a favor, be with me for a week. After that, I'll set you free."

Without thinking twice, I agreed with her proposition.

Day 1, I went to her place and she greeted me with a warm hug.

"Kumain kana ba?" I shook my head, no. "'Lika. Pagluluto kita."

I went inside the kitchen and leaned on the door while she's busy cooking. Since, her body is not facing the door, I got the chance to stare at her, freely.

She's wearing an oversized white shirt and her favorite shorts exposing her white milky thighs. On the other hand, her hair is tied into a messy bun. Simple yet, she still looks stunning.

I went closer and hugged her from behind.

'I missed this.'

Those were the words that I wanted to say, but I kept silent.

Day 3.

She intertwined her fingers with mine while the movie Titanic is ongoing. I was focused on watching when I felt her head resting on my shoulder.

She must've doze off.

I was partly shocked when she jolted up awake when Jack—the protagonist in the movie—shouted. She looked at me, worriedly.

"I thought you're the one screaming."

My heart skipped a beat because of her worried facial expression.

D*mn, this woman never fail to make me fall even harder.

Day 5.

Aisley and I played video games the whole day. Unfortunately, she's far more better than me.

"Ha! Beat that!" She shouted, proudly and looked at me with a wide smile.

I can't help, but to stare at her beauty.

"Gan'yan ka lang!" My brows ceased when she grabbed something near the table.

A marker.

"Don't you dare—" It was too late for me to complain. She already drew a mustache on my face. I glared at her as she clutch her stomach for laughing out loud.

"You look so f-funny, HAHAHAHA!"

I grab a hold of the marker and held her face. She started squirming, but I was stronger. I drew two big circles on her eyes, making her look like she's wearing glasses.

We both forgot the game and just scribble on each other's faces.

If only everything could last forever.

Day 6

"Hey, you coming?" I heard a knock on the door.

"Be there in a second," I replied.

I sat on the sofa beside her as she started playing the video on the television. She told me to watch the videos that we recorded and I agreed.

The video started playing. It was the first recorded video that we ever made. We were in the park having picnic. The video was kind of shaky, but it's steal clear for us to watch.

Then, the second one played. My birthday. I can hear everyone singing while the camera is focus on Aisley, who's in front of me holding a cake. After I blew the candle, she kissed me on the cheeks and whispered a happy birthday.

I can't help, but to chuckle as tears started to form on the corner of my eyes.

The next video is my favorite. It was one of the biggest moment in our life—our wedding day.

Yes, she's my wife.

I stared at Aisley who's beside me while her eyes is stuck on the video. There's a small smile carved on her lips.

I looked back at the video and it's already in our reception. Everyone was clicking their utensils on their glasses and started screaming when Aisley and I, kissed.

The next video played. I was holding our baby in my arms. It was the day Aisley gave birth to our little angel.

Hot liquid started pouring out of my eyes. I also felt my shoulder moving up and down as I cry even harder. Aisley's arms wrapped around me and I buried my face between her neck and shoulders.

"Shh.. Mahal kita kahit na ano'ng mangyari." She reassured me.

Day 7

This is it. Our last day. Few more hours and everything will be over.

I was supposed to be happy, but the opposite is what I'm feeling.

"Hey, are you okay?" I stared at her. She's wearing a white dress. Her hair follows with the wind since we're on the cliff near the city.

"O-Of course, I am." I faked my smile before holding her hand.

We stared at the night sky, as if it's the last.

"This is it," she started. "After this day end, we'll both part our ways—"

Niyakap ko siya nang mahigpit.

Ito ang gusto ko, pero bakit hindi ako masaya?

"You should let go—"

"Ayoko." I hugged her even tighter. "Hindi ko kaya. Hindi ko pala kaya."

Naramdaman kong hinawakan niya ang magkabilaan kong balikat. "Believe me, Drake. Kaya mo na ng wala ako." She smiled.

Hindi ko magawang suklian ang ngiting 'yon. "'Yun din ang akala ko, pero hindi pala. 'Wag mo 'kong iiwan, please, gusto pa kitang m-makasama."

She smiled and kissed me on the lips for the last time. "Mahal na mahal kita, but I'm now setting you free."

That night was the worst moment of my life.

The next day, I woke up with dried tears.

It was another dream.

I reached beside me only to be greeted with nothingness. No one was there. And no one will ever be, again.

"Daddy!" I smiled and reached for Jay. "Daddy dream of mommy, again?"

I nodded before kissing his forehead.

The truth is, my wife isn't the one who set me free.

I was the one who set her free..

'Cause it's been a long time, since she died. And now, I have to accept it.
