Never have I ever

I was sitting next to my boyfriend while we're having a reunion.

"Guys, let's play," Jerome suggested.

"Anong laro?" Briana asked.

"Never Have I Ever." Jerome smirked before pouring a glass of wine. "The game's simple. All you have to do is to drink this" —he held up the cup— "if you've done that action already."

"Nice. I'll go first," my boyfriend said. "Never have I ever peed in a pool."

I cringed when Jerome took a shot. "Eww!"

"What? We all do that."

"Sira, ikaw lang!" Binato siya ni Crisha ng unan.

"My turn!" Briana raised her hand. "Never have I ever finished a whole gallon of ice cream."

This time, it's my turn to have a shot.

"Such a foodie." I chuckled at what Calix said.

"Ako naman!" Crisha thought for a minute before raising her index finger. "Never have I ever ruined any relationship."

We all stared at Briana nang tumungga ito. I suddenly felt different on the pit of my stomach. Parang may mali.

"Woah. Kaninong relasyon?"

Briana remained silent ng biglang umismid si Tristan.

"Personalan pala, ha," Tristan started. "Never have I ever played with someone else's feelings."

I frowned when all of the boys including my boyfriend took a shot.

"Nako! Kayo talagang mga lalaki, pare-pareho!" sumbat ni Crisha na ikinatawa nalang naming mga babae.

I looked at Calix and he's laughing with Briana na nasa kabilang gilid niya.

My heart stings.

Lately, my boyfriend got along with Briana. They both became too clingy to each other and I can't help, but to over think.

"Oh, ako naman. Never have I ever fell in love with someone while I'm still in a relationship," wika ni Jerome.

Napalunok ako nang uminom si Tristan at Calix.

"Woah. Hindi na 'ko nanibago kay Tristan, but you, Calix? What the hell, man?" Nagugulat na tumingin si Jerome sa kanya.

Matagal kong tinitigan si Calix na ngayo'y mukhang balisa.

Hindi ko maiwasang makaramdam ng awa para sa sarili ko. Bakit pakiramdam ko pinaglalaruan ako ng lahat?

"Hoy, Trixie. Ikaw na." Nabalik ako sa ulirat nang tawagin ako ni Tristan. "Bilis! Sayang oras."

"H-Ha? Sige. . . ahm.." I glanced at Calix.

I want to know the truth. Kahit masakit, tatanggapin ko. Just please, be honest with me.

"N-Never have I ever. . . cheated with the person I am with right now."

Everyone was silent. Walang sinuman ang nagatubling kumilos.

Calix took a shot which made my tears fall.

"W-With who?" He didn't answer me. Instead, he looked back at the person right next to him.

It was Briana.

Betrayal is what I felt.
