3rd person POV (after Momo left the Café)
"So you're telling me that your girlfriend is coming home this week?" Sana asked Dahyun.
"Yeah. She said she's almost done with her schedule and her flight's in two days." Dahyun replied with a smile.
"Looks like you're gonna be spending your time with her. While I will be left alone, and lonely." Sana said acting hurt.
"Don't be silly. My girlfriend's gonna be staying at her cousin's house. I still don't know who they are actually. She's been talking about introducing me to them. But you! I know you've been talking to" her" on your phone. Why don't you just confess?"
"I don't know if she'll like me. She might think I still have something with Mina. I don't want her to think that she's a rebound. We'll take things slowly."
"Point taken. But won't she be more shocked if she finds out that you're shyshyzaki?" Dahyun asked.
"It's not a big deal. Besides, I'm not doing anything that could possibly hurt her. I'm being careful."
"Okay then. We better go now. Chaeyoung may have some good news about the prisoner."
"Okay I'll just get my car." Sana said and left their table.
They plan to go to Chaeyoung's house to seek info. On the way, Dahyun noticed Sana smiling like crazy on her phone.
"Dude, you're making things complicated. Just tell her already."
"I'm still waiting for the perfect time. I'll tell her soon and you’ll be the first to know you nosy son of a bitch." Sana just laughed at Dahyun.
"Okay but make it quick alright? I want to see how hard Minatozaki Sana fell over the great Hirai Momo. HAHAHAHA!"
"Aishh! stop teasing and keep driving!"
Dahyun's laughter died when they arrived at the mansion and all the guards are outside. This can only mean one thing,
"Where did Chaeyoung go?" Sana asked Jackson. He bowed at the two.
"She said she'll be doing something Miss Minatozaki. We were given strict orders to guard the house and to not let anyone in, even you two Miss."
Sana and Dahyun shared a curious look.
"And why is that?" Dahyun asked.
"She hired the best investigators to look up at the current situation with our prisoner and asked them to do a thorough investigation at the house. All evidences must be gathered and she doesn't want you two, to get involved Miss Kim." he replied to Dahyun
"Okay, but, where is she now?"
"She didn't say anything about her whereabouts Miss Kim. But she brought her motorcycle and was dressed in a casual outfit. She must be meeting an old friend."
"She is. Okay, thanks Jackson. Take good care of everything. We'll take our leave."Sana said and they both left the house.
While on the car, Dahyun spoke.
"Do you know where she could've went?"
"Nahh. She's a bit secretive when it comes to things like this. Let's just give her some privacy."
"Okay." The were both silent all through the whole ride while Sana was driving. They are used to Chaeyoung's behaviours especially this. But as good friends, they respect her and her time alone. Maybe she has a date? Kekekeke Dahyun thought.
They both went home without noticing the car that's been following them.
"I can already smell my victory. Things are going the way I want it." the older man said
