MINA'S POV
I fell asleep for about an hour before I was awoken when the lights turned on. Mr. Son came in the room with Lisa following him along with 5 other men.
"Put her in that chair." He ordered.
One of them tied me and I couldn't find the strength to resist so I just let them. They brought another person in the room. I don't know if it's a man or woman but I can tell from its body figure that it's woman. Her head was covered with a cloth bag. They positioned the chair where we are facing each other. Suddenly the door came bursting and before I know it, Chaeyoung was shooting everyone shes sees. No one could even lay a hand on her when she shot all 5 men and only Lisa and Mr. Son was left standing. She looks very angry in her stance.
"All of your men are dead if you want to ask. You should've thought about bringing the best when you told me you have my girlfriend." she asked in gritted teeth.
"Huh. Looks like my daughter has grown up fast."
"I am not your daughter. And you." she looked at Lisa but Lisa didn't show any emotion. "I would've accepted you being touchy with Mina rather than be with this man. You made the wrong decision Lisa."
"I know what I'm doing." she simply replied.
Chaeyoung stared angrily at Lisa before turning to her father.
"Release her right at this moment or I swear you're gonna regret it." her veins are almost popping out.
"You don't threaten me my daughter. I will be the one to make you feel scared for your life."
He removed the cloth from the person's head and I was shocked to see a beat up Dahyun. She had blood on her mouth and lips and on her forehead. Her nose is bleeding too.
"Dahyun." Chaeyoung said. Tears were escaping her eyes. "What did you fucking do??!!!!"
"I brought these two here for options. Do you think you can hide them from me? I don't think so. Can you still remember the test I talked to you about? Your last and final test to be my heir? Well here you go. You can only leave this place with one of them. Choose wisely." He said and that made me froze on my seat. I couldn't breath properly and my heart is pounding on my chest. Chaeyoung was worse. She turned pale her hands are shaking. I couldn't comfort her because I'm tied up.
"I won't choose." she suddenly said.
"Excuse me?" Mr. Son asked
"You heard me. I won't choose. You can have the company for yourself."
"You can't do it?"
"No. I can't and I won't. Are you fucking kidding me? I'm not as ruthless as you are!!" she shouted at her father. Mr. Son just laughed at her.
"You got a lot of nerve showing me that attitude of yours. But I always knew you're gonna be this stubborn. That's why I brought Lisa here."
I look at Lisa. She took out two guns. She aimed the other one at Dahyun, and other one at me.
One of Mr. Son's men took a hold of Chaeyoung. Since she's in shock, she couldn't resist or even defend herself. I saw how they kicked her and made her kneel. I was crying hard when I saw how she's grimacing in pain.
"Stop!! Please!! Stop!!! I'm begging you!!! Don't hurt her!!! Please sir!!!" I shouted at them but they didn't listen.
I have never seen her this vulnerable. Is it because of me? Does she feel weak because I'm suffering too?
Mr. Son made them stop when Chaeyoung was already coughing blood and couldn't stand up.
"I always knew you were weak. You've fooled everyone that you're powerful and strong, but to me, you're nothing." He said.
