CHAEYOUNG'S POV
I am standing in front of my mirror, holding different outfits in my hand, trying to find something that could fit my taste and Mina's.
Are button up shirts attractive or too much? But we're going on a Five Star Restaurant. She may be expecting me to wear something formal. But, what if she wants to dress comfortably? Maybe I should just go with my signature jeans and sweatshirt? But we're going on a date for crying out loud! Not a party!!!
It's been so long since I've been on a formal date with someone and I think I forgot how to dress properly. On regular days I often wear my suit since I'm always working in my office or a sweater and jeans. Back then when I was dating Her, she always wants me to wear formal outfits. She said it's what I should be wearing everyday. Little did I know, she was just trying to show off to other people that her girlfriend is a bigtime. I shouldn't be thinking about her.
I finally found the perfect outfit for tonight. White turtle neck sweater topped with a denim jacket, black fitted pants, and boots. The weather is kinda freezing too so I brought a scarf in case she gets cold. I checked my watch and it says 7 o'clock so I stull have plenty of time. While on the way, I saw a flower shop and stopped by it to buy Mina some daisies. A woman wearing a scarf around her neck covering half of her face called me.
"How may I help you Ms.?" huh, familiar.
She looks like a young woman.
"How much for this sweetie?" I pointed at the daisies.
"Th-that'll be 15 dollars M-miss."
"I'll take two. And can you please put them together in a bouquet? I'm giving them to someone, very special." I smiled at the woman who is still not looking at me.
"Wo-would that be all Miss?"
"Yes." look at me.
"P-please wait here while I fix this for you Miss. Son."
"You know me?"
"Everyone does Miss. Now if you excuse me."
She came back 5 minutes later holding a beautiful bouquet of daisies. I handed her the money and left the store but the piercing gaze of someone from behind me didn't go unnoticed. Tss. I'm a smol creature, but my senses are bigger than anyone else in this room. I just got inside my car, not giving a fuck about anyone else but my date tonight.
The restaurant seemed to be pretty packed tonight. Everyone greeted me and bowed their heads. The manager, Park Jihyo, who also happens to be my secretary led me to the VIP room.
"Here's the menu for tonight Ms. Son. Would you like some wine or champagne?"
I handed her the menu.
"Yes. Give me the best wine we have here."
"Alright then. I'll be back in a minute."
"Please, let the waiters do it. You can rest now. I know you've had a rough day at the office. I will take no for an answer." I smiled at her. What? I'm in a good mood!
"Thank you so much Ms. Son! Please enjoy your meal!" she replied with her sweet smile and left.
I sent Mina some texts to remind her of our date tonight. 30 minutes later, our food arrived and it truly looks amazing my mouth is watering already. I gave my regards to the Chef before they leave me to wait for Mina.
