"What the heck? What is happ—"

"Did you know about it?" Biglang tanong ni Earl kay Brix. Napatigil bigla si Brix sa kanyang kinatatayuan dahil sa tanong ni Earl. Ang tono ng boses kasi nito ay nakakapanindig balahibo. Ibang-iba sa nakilala ni lang Earl.

"What's all the ruckus all abou—"

Bumaba ang ibang kaibigan nito dahil sa narinig ni lang ingay sa baba. At agad napatigil sila sa kinatatayuan nila ng matanaw nila si Earl sa kanilang kinatatayuan. Ibang-iba ang aura. Nakakatakot.

Everyone stiffened at the moment. They were so surprised of how Earl acted today.

Gladly, Brix manages to snap back at his senses and shook his head. "Yes. I knew about it." he uttered and still manages to sit on the couch. While Earl, stood infront of him with a disbelief look. Nasa, Living Room silang dalawa habang ang iba nasa hagdan pa rin at nakasilip.

"I can't believe it. Bakit hindi mo sinabi sa akin ang purpose ng pag punta ko doon? You should've told me, Brix! Kung sana sinabi mo ng mas maaga sa akin... I might've manage to think of a plan!" Sigaw nito saka matalim na tinignan si Brix sa mata.

"You know how much I respected Mrs. Lee, Earl. She told me that she will be the one who will tell you about this whole thing." And he avoided Earl's gazed.

"But this has gone overboard! My mother's doing is way out of the line! And yet you still remained silent! How could you! You lied to me! I thought we were friends!" He blurted out.

"Merong mga bagay na kailangang ilihim dahil kinakailangan hindi dahil sa ginusto nila kundi dahil kailangan lang gawin." Aniya... at biglang natihimik doon si Earl. The words strike him and he knew that Brix had a point there. But still, he still can't shake off the fact that his friend lied to him. He was going to marry a girl he didn't knew and worse he never even love. How could he just calm down if he remembers it.

"That's bullsh-t, Brix! That doesn't changed the fact that you lied to me!" He screamed and at the same time he grab Brix's shirt and he pulled him up.
