Dreams Do Come True

Chapter 17

AJ's P.O.V.

I walk down the last couple of steps and follow Autumn and Ayden to a closed door that I haven't noticed. Autumn opens the door and goes through it, me and Ayden follow behind her.

I look into the room as I walk through the doorway to see a garage. Inside I see the truck that we rode in yesterday and a Jeep Wrangler. Autumn makes her way to the Jeep as I shut the door to the house and get in the back seat.

Once we were all in and buckled up, the car is turned on and a button was pushed that's on a little remote. I hear a noise and then the garage door begins to open behind us. After the door is all the way up, Autumn changes the gear shift from park to reverse.

We make our way out of the driveway, she pushes the same button on the remote and the garage door shuts. After the door is shut, she changes gears from reverse to drive and we head off to wherever she has in mind first.

The next half hour was spent with the windows down and the music turned up. Going down the highway singing along to the radio as the wind blew through my hair was more fun than I've had in a long time.  I couldn't help but laugh every once in a while as I watch Ayden dancing in his seat and singing horribly might I add.

We pulled into a parking lot that belongs to the biggest store I've ever seen. Granted, I don't know if I've ever been to a mall but still. It takes a little bit to find a parking spot but we were finally able to claim one.

We get out of the car once parked and we made our way through the parking lot and to the front entrance of the mall. When we get to the entrance, we make our way in through the doors making sure not to hit anyone with the door.

As we make our way into the humongous building, we walk into a big mass of people. So many people were walking in every direction. There were families walking past with kids of various ages, there were teenagers hanging out with their friends and elderly couples walking around.

Its a complete madhouse as I follow Autumn and Ayden walk around a group of people here and there and get to the bottom of an escalator to get to the second floor. Since all I see on the main floor is a bunch of food places, my guess is the shops are on the second and third floor.

We step onto the escalator, slowly making our way up. I hold onto the rail as we go up so I don't lose my balance. We get up to the second floor and walk over to the side so we are out of the way for other people to go by.

"Ok so, the plan is you and Autumn are going to go to some stores and get whatever you want. I have something to do so when I'm done, I'll call Autumn to see where you guys are that way I can meet back up with you. " Ayden says to me and Autumn as agrees with what he says.

"Ok." I say and move so I'm standing next to Autumn.

Ayden heads off in one direction and Autumn leads me into another.

"Ok so I figure that we could just start going into stores and see what pops out at us. We can grab a bunch of clothes and have you try them on in the dressing room." She says as we are walking.

I nod at her so she knows I heard her and we continue to walk. Autumn takes a left turn and we end up walking into a store. I wasn't paying enough attention to see what the store was called.
