Chapter One

SAKURA

The warm air hit her as she opened the door of the wooden cottage.

The place she called home, her shelter that protected her from any harm.

Harm that especially occured vampires.

It's been few years since she became vampire and this cottage was only place were she could live normally.

It was freezing outside and Sakura just escaped bunch of hunters. She's been doing that since the day she became vampire.

The cottage that Sakura lived was hidden from the hunters, so here Sakura could relax.

She always managed to defeat hunters but this time it was harder than usual.

One thing was different today.

They had poison.

She was good with poisons, but their poison wasn't normal one. She recognized it as the vampire poison. It was definitely new invention because hunters have never used it before and it was not familiar to Sakura either.

Good thing she dodged their attack quickly or else she would be hit by that poison.

Sakura stood near her window, holding cup of coffee. Her eyes staring at the falling snow which fell on the ground, making the view more fascinating.

Thanks to her vampire abilities, she could see this beautiful view much better. She could even see the little details on the snowflakes. This was one of her favourite advantages of being a vampire.

Everything was white, which made it easier to notice something raven colored in snow.

Sakura put her cup on the table and looked closer. There was a person fallen on the snowy ground.

He seemed in pain and Sakura's doctorly instincts made her dash out without even thinking. She kneeled down near who was breathing heavily. She searched for any visible scars so she could find out what was wrong with the man and noticed a small arrow struck on his arm. She saw same liquid poured on the arrow that the hunters had.

Sakura gasped and looked around worriedly. There was no sight of hunters, so wasting no time, she brought the wounded person at her cottage. It was much easier since she had super strength.

She layed the man on her couch and swiftly picked all the supplies she would need to heal the man.

It wouldn't be easy, it seemed to be serious wound, but she would try. After all, she was a doctor before becoming a vampire.

Sakura opened her medical books and searched for poisons and antidotes. There was noting about vampire poisons but the information was still useful.

It took lots of time and effort to finally extract the poison out of that vampire.

She spent whole night keeping him alive and taking the poison out of his body. If Sakura didn't find him, he sure would be dead.

The pinkette managed to save the man, but couldn't create the antidote since it needed to be enchanted to cure the vampire.

She sat on the couch, tired from the hard process. She was thankful the vampires had healing abilities or else it would've been impossible to save him.
