Manik's pov
Nandini was on one of the tables with that guy. She was constantly smiling and trying to hold his hand. I was ravishing her sweet smile until i saw tears in her eyes.
Flashback...
"The weapons will be transported to your warehouse by the nightfall. The cops are involved with us so there's no need to worry." Elijah, Manik's right hand said.
Manik, on the contrary, was busy noticing the girls whose expressions suddenly changed from happy to sad.
The coloye of her face drained out and her shoulders shrunk together as she shook her head in a no.
He watched her holding hands of the guy but he erratically jerked her hands away and walked out, leaving her alone on the table.
The woman also got up and followed the guy out of the restaurant as here, "Excuse me, gentlemen. I'll be right back within five minutes. Elijah, take care of the meeting." Manik announced out of the blue before he dashed out the room, leaving the meeting and the deal for Elijah to look after which he was already doing ever since they come here.
Manik was not into meeting right from the beginning. Means, he was paying attention abd talking whenever he was needed to in the start but ten minutes later, he just suddenly fell mute. He would constantly look outside the glass of their dining lounge which Elijah had no idea where. And now, he hurriedly got up and left the room.
Anyways, having come out of their vip area, Manik hastily moved here and there in the restaurant premises looking for Nandini. He was curious and wanted to see her. He basically desired to know what happened between the girl and her boyfriend that made her cry.
The need of searching her brought him to the pool side area.
"There... She is." Manik finally found her.
Her front was visible to her and it really made him feel relieved as he wished to see her only. Her face was one he had never seen. And those tears, though it pissed him off, he liked her crying face.
"You are not serious Harshad, are you? You can't break up with me." She held the coat of the guy whose back was at Manik. She hiccuped resting her head on his chest. "We have been together for two years. We promised to seal our relationship with a marriage and eternal togetherness. Tell me this is a joke. You're only trying to irritate me, aren't you?"
"Ugh, Nandini! Why don't you get it straight." Manik's mind floundered watching the guy push her away.
She tripped as there was a wooden settle behind her and fell. Manik felt his heart throb. He gritted his teeth. He wished to go there and pick her up but it was not in his principles to interior other' business. It was one of a heinous crimes in his world.
His world appreciated everything but interruption. And being a mafia leader himself, he couldn't try intervene in someone's matters. It was not appreciable. If done, his world penalized the one interrupting with a punishment of death. Henceforth, he was forced stand there in a hidden place and watch everything unfold between them.
"I don't want this relationship anymore. I am fed up of everything. I am fed up of you, your father and your clingy nature. It's hard to tolerare your clingy self and the threats from your father." The guys screamed.
OH, so looked like they were breaking up but the girl wasn't ready.
She got up again and tried to hole the guy's arms," Harshad, I know my father has been tough on you but please, you can't let his warnings break up. We both love each other." She cried hystercally as she attempted to make him understand.
