To Damian, the following week was nothing short of a beautiful disaster.
The source of his problems being their newest recruit, the very charming, exceptionally talented Marinette Dupain-Cheng. Never before had he found it difficult to read a person, but Marinette was something else, he had no words to describe her.
He probably did: annoying, clumsy, embarrassing, immature but surprisingly talented. And for some reason she had a pretty bipolar personality.

27th March began with a bang.
Their Fashion Head came in with five huge boxes of baked goods, balanced in her hands.
The smell of freshly baked cookies and pastries filled the air and as she walked to the cafeteria table, the entire work force turned to look at her. Their hungry eyes follow the boxes, some drooling at the delicious smell, while others looked longingly at the stack.
Damian, who had been conversing with Martha, an employee, on the first floor, was quick to notice the abrupt silence in the work space. He turned his head to see the wonderful sight of the clumsy girl in a black collar dress, trying to carry boxes bigger than her to the center of the room from the entrance. He could see some employees offering to help, but she refused. He found that pretty stupid. Annoying even.
Finally, after a lot of fidgeting, she made it to the table, placed the boxes and grinned in triumph, letting out a whoop of joy. From the first floor, Damian could see several of the employees smiling subconsciously at the cheery bluenette.
Somehow, she possessed that power. To light up any room she walks into.
"Free baked goods for everyone!" she declared, "Don't worry they're made based on all your preferences I had secretly stolen from the Worker's Office, so edible to all!" she winked and everyone else cheered. Cheers were a rare phenomenon at Wayne Enterprises, the setting was usually entirely professional: stern and silent, but well today was different.
Damian seemed to recall that there was no bakery in the vicinity. She may have made them herself. Completing the conversation with Martha, he went back to observing the bluenette.
He found her in her office, later, "So baking food for the employees huh?" he asked, "Great way to make a good impression!"
Her wide blue eyes stared at him anxiously, "Are we not allowed? I baked them last night out of excitement. Also the guidelines didn't mention anything about sharing food, then again I may have read and forgotten," she rambled to herself. Annoying!
"I'm talking about stealing employee data," he stated, mechanically.
"Oh!" she softly exclaimed, "I only looked into their food preferences and birthdays."
"Yes, darling," he said sarcastically, "How many more rules are you willing to break? This is Strike Two. One more and you'll be out, got it?" he smirked at her dumbfounded nod, then walked out. She at least showed some respect for him.
That day's meeting he had scheduled, turned out to be awful. He angrily stomped to the buffet table and bit into a cupcake. Hmm...Not bad...Acceptable...
No wonder the others were attacking it, like food-deprived buffoons. The girl had intricately made and designed each sweet she brought. She does get full points for dedication.
Todd and Drake fought for the last cupcake. And after an amusing battle, their dad snatched it away to taste it, humming in satisfaction at its taste.
