They say no Len is ever supposed to have happiness.
They say that every Len, no matter where they come from or what world they're in, either comes to a sticky end, or lives the rest of their life in despair.
They say no Len ever has a happy ending.
One of them fell into despair and ran away.
One died to save his sister.
One fell victim to the very mistress he adored.
One went mad and became both detective and culprit.
And one was destroyed by a seemingly harmless guest.
Lens are meant to suffer. They're meant to lose. And none of them, none of them, will ever have a happy ending.
Except for me.
You see, I'm not like the others. I'm clever. I'm cunning. I know how to get what I want. And I won't let my fate be like the others.
Most of all, I never, ever give up.
I will not have a bad ending.
I will not let myself have a bad ending
I will be the Len who succeeds
No matter how hard I have to try
No matter how many lies I have to tell
No matter how many lives I have to destroy.
I will have my happy ending.
Even if the world suffers for it.
