It's been a while since I last played, I don't ever really have time for myself at all anymore.
I've tried playing Rockin' around the Christmas tree a few times, but I suck at playing chords. None of the chords I try to play sound right either, which I figured out it's because my guitar is out of tune. The only way I have to tune my guitar is the CD that comes with my dummies book, but we don't have a remote for the DVD player, so I'd have to restart the entire CD a million times, and I really don't have time for that. So my guitar sits untuned.
And I've decided not to play those frustrating chords until I can get my guitar properly tuned. And since I can't find a version of Rockin' around the Christmas tree without chords, my sister and I have decided on Sleigh Ride instead. Which just leaves the problem of I don't have time to learn it, especially not before Christmas.
I hope she knows Let it Snow. Or Jingle Bells. I'll have to ask her if she can sing any of those in a pinch. I'll wait a bit, though. I'll have to get a chance to play eventually.
