Step up to the plate and batter up

Awkward...

"Omg frankie avalon is literally so hot!" I smile. Benny rolls his eyes. 

"He's not even hot." Benny mumbles. I look at him and smirk. 

"What, you jealous Rodriguez?" I chuckle and put my arm around him. He sighs. We walked into the convenient store. 

"Their you guys are" Ham nags. 

"They were probably kissing" Timmy laughs. 

"They were probably kis-"

"Shut it Tommy!" We shout. We all laugh. 

"Hmmm.. okay you go find a ball, and ill buy what I need" I smile and walk away from them to get what I need. 

Tomorrow is the Fourth Of July! I'm so excited! This is what everyone has been waiting for. Playing baseball under the fireworks. Wow I can't wait. 

I start walking down the aisles. Looking for what I need. I go down the female products and grab what I need. I walk down the fourth of July part and grab sparkles for everyone. 

"There you are Lyd" I turn around and put the tampons behind my back. I smile at Ham. 

"Where is everyone else?" I ask awkwardly. He just sighs and tells me to follow. 

"Come on man! Just sell us the stupid ball." Benny complains. 

"Yeah-Yeah give it to us." 

"For the last time I can't. That ball is for display only." The worker complains. 

"Whats going on?" I walk over to the counter where everyone is at. All the boys are whining. 

"Lyd! Lyd! Lyd!" They shout my name. I walk up to the guy at the counter.

"Excuse me. Sorry for them." I smile awkwardly. "Um is there anyway I can… buy the ball." I ask nervously. He sighs and looks at me. 

"Listen girl. I can't just sell you it to you." I sigh. "Please ill do anything" I beg. He looks at me and puts his elbow on the counter. 

"Fine I want 2.50 for it." All our mouths dropped. 

"I need that money to buy other things!" I tell him. 

"Sorry girl. I need 2.50 or no ball." I glare at him. It took 10 minutes before we made an agreement. 

"Deal." I pay for the ball and all my other things. I give the bag to Tommy to hold onto. We finally leave to store. 

“Okay Tommy Hand me the ball” Benny holds out his hands to catch it. He digs threw the bag, and pulls out the box of tampons.

“What are these?” He asks confused. I turn around and my face turns a bit red. Everyone surrounds his to see.

“T-Tampons?” Squints tries to say. I grab the box and the bag from them. Benny chuckles. I glare at him and roll my eyes. 

“Those are mine.” I put them back in the bag. They look at me confused. I sigh. Great now i have to explain what a tampon is to all these immature boys. 

“Oh my sister has those” Yeah-yeah explains. “She shoves them up her butt or something like that.” He smiles. I slap my head in embarrassment. All all go eww. I kinda chuckle. 

“Your way off” I laugh. They sigh in relief. Little do they know its way worse. They question me about what they are used for. 

“I don't think you wanna know…” I tell them. They all beg me. I get close to the ground and tell them to come here. I whisper it to them and they freak out.

“EWWWWWWWWWWWW” They all gag and scream. I laugh at them. Even Benny was grossed out… He’s 16… 

“Oh grow up!” I roll my eyes.

“Comeone,” I chuckle, “Lets play ball” I laugh and start running.

HIIII! Ik ik this chapter is very short. Ill go back to posting longer chapters, but it will take me longer. I just wanted to post something. Ik these chapters have been very random, but i will go back to posting better stuff :) THANKSSSS FOR READINGGG!!! <3
