Perhaps a dream of summer's night, perhaps a reality of winter's fright
I find myself lost in the endless white sand
Unsure if it is whether the storm of a snowfield or the reflecting beach's light
I reach out and feel what seems like a tanned hand

Like a royal, I summon my loyal knight
A gargantuan figure. My grainy might
The winds start to blow, and I climb to the top of its height
What I see baffles me. Nothing but more endless white

My knight starts to fumble on its feet
We have reached and ocean. Where it looks happy
I jump down to a floating leave. My guardian is melting from the intense heat
I grab its head and put it on my head. We ran to our bed, as it is time for a little nappy

I make it out of rocks and whatever
It is not comfortable, but it is for the two of us
I ask my knight for a bedtime story. It smiles and says it the best one ever
In the end, I say thanks and, like my knight, I close my eyes thus

Faintly, I pick up a scent. Gentle. The smell of a warm cup
From loneliness to ecstasy. My dreams, my alma mater
I wake up
Surrounded by water
