Changing Seasons

When spring comes, she radiates glimmer-like beauty while sunlight hits her dress
A figure to rival even Venus, that piercing red glare, a hair to wrap all malice
With a straw hat and a rabbit paw in her slim belt, she vibrates shades of green that the gardens bless
The wind blows all my thoughts away as she walks my way. Her name? Alice

Hotter than a volcano, summer comes crashing down on us
I sneaked into her umbrella one day 'cause it was raining
Boy oh boy! Never thought she would such a klutz!
Tumbling down on us, a hard rain wets our reunion while she was slapping...

Fall to fall, we never miss the harvest festival in our towns
Running to help the elders with decorations, we smile and laugh about our days off
The festival comes and she has a gown to make me drown in my nouns
As days pass, we spend the nights lost in love

Chills to our spines and roofs made of snow
We have no home and winter comes with a show
A flame-like glow in her eyes and a tattered blanket in tow
She gives it to me, and I accept with gusto

As seasons change, Alice and I grow ever closer to one another
We live by the gifts of people and the earth's mother
Orphans because of steel, life in the gutter
Our relationship couldn't have gone southern
