There was a tiny, black rabbit hiding in my courtyard
He was so small I could fit it in my hand's palm
It had a spot resembling a harp in his left paw, so I named him Bard
It surprised me because it remained so calm!Little Bard and I went inside the house because it was raining outside
We dried ourselves up, I with a towel and him with a small handkerchief
He had red eyes. Just like me! Well, he had the whole thing. Me? Only the inner side
It was the prettiest rabbit I had ever seen! I wanted to keep it, so I went to ask the chiefHe said yes! I'm so happy! But, I have to take full responsibility for him
Now, I should get him food, water, a bed, and maybe a dress!
Although, he is a male... well, it would look super grim!
My little Bard and I were inseparable I must confessI carry his left paw on my belt
