With Hope on the rampage, Lizzie couldn't wait any longer to get stronger. She wanted a fair fight when she came eye to eye with her friend-foe. She hated Hope and everything she did to her and her family. Her father would never be the same.He lived, but he wasn't the same person he was before. He had many complications due to his injury. He was alive, but had to relearn how to walk. He could speak, but slowly and in shorter sentences.
The super squad had disbanded as Malivore monsters never came again. Hope was still out there somewhere killing. Josie still hoped for Hope. The Hope she had a crush on when she was fourteen.
Lizzie was spiraling worse than ever.
Josie tried to there for Lizzie the best she could, but cared more for her fathers needs. For once, Josie had someone to be codependent with.
Lizzie spent a lot more time with Sebastian. He had aided her in a lot of her pain. Lizzie had it in her head that she wanted to kill Hope. Cleo had left school to try and find Hope to bring her back. Lizzie knew there was a way to kill her with the white oak stake. She wanted to fight her first.
For weeks she had begged Sebastian to turn her. She'd avoid the merge. Her mother could finally come home. She could live forever with Sebastian for the rest of her immortality. She could keep her sister around and turn her later. She'd have a fair fight with Hope before she attempted to murder her to avenge her father's condition.
Her bipolar episodes were on par with the seasons. Summer and winter made her more manic. Fall and spring seemed to make her more depressed. It wasn't exact. There was patterns in her behaviors. She felt there was no point in taking her meds anymore. Her depressive episodes lasted a long time. Sebastian would have to talk her down from the depth of disparity. Her hypomania took her to new heights as each cycle seemed worse than the next.
Most of the time, she'd be like anyone else who went through hardship. It was only when she had an episode that lasted weeks was it difficult for Sebastian to help her.
In the dead of night, Lizzie laid awake next to Sebastian who didn't need sleep. He often held her to keep her safe. "Sebastian, why won't you turn me?" She asked angrily.
Sebastian sighed gently. "Elizabeth, you once told me how you were not ready and I'm not sure you are ready now." He said quietly.
"How can I prove it to you?" She asked.
Lizzie laid on her stomach and looked up at him. She had been resting her head on his chest.
"Whenever you stop willfully telling how you'd like to end Hope's life." He said.
Lizzie moved up a bit and pushed her lips into his.
"This isn't about Hope." She whined.
She began kissing him more without pulling away.
"I want an eternity with you." She begged.
He kissed her jaw a couple times and then stopped himself.
"Can't you see that?" She whined.
She laid down next to him as he hovered over her.
He pushed her hair out of the way. Her neck exposed to him. She extended her neck to him. He scoffed to himself.
"Elizabeth, do you trust me?" He asked.
She looked him in his eyes and nodded.
His eyes went bloodshot as his fangs made their presence known. He planked over her with one hand as he used his other hand to bite into his wrist.
