Lizzie and Josie were graduating in a couple months their classes consisted of teachers cramming ideas of which colleges were best. Sebastian graduated the year before Lizzie. He had taken a year off in order to wait for Lizzie to finish high school.

Sebastian often missed England very much. He was used to their culture and customs.

Josie and Lizzie were sitting in the computer lab looking at colleges. Lizzie's eyes were glued to Josie's computer. Josie looked at Lizzie and rolled her eyes. "We are independent now." Josie said. "Different colleges, Lizzie." Josie said pressing the issue.

Lizzie was busy watching her sister look at colleges. Lizzie would try to remember which ones she clicked on. Lizzie wasn't sure what she wanted to do when it came to a career. Her sister was sure she wanted to become a therapist and help people that were like Lizzie.

Lizzie couldn't lean on Josie forever. Lizzie hadn't in a long time. This was different. Lizzie grew up with Josie with her 24/7. The only time they were apart was when Lizzie went to Europe to see her mother, Caroline.

Lizzie nodded. "I understand." She said rolling her eyes back. Lizzie looked at her computer screen. She exited the websites she was on knowing the bell would alarm any minute and she would be able to see her boyfriend. Sebastian would wait for Lizzie to finish class. He would walk her back to her room.

Lizzie didn't know if this day was one of those days. Josie packed up as the alarm sounded. Lizzie was far too deep inside her mind to notice Josie. Josie swing her backpack over her right shoulder and left. Lizzie sat back in her computer chair seeing all the students leave the room quickly.

The teacher looked at Lizzie noticing she was acting different. He looked at Lizzie and smiled. Lizzie smiled back. Her smile was fake and she knew it. Sebastian appeared in the doorway. Lizzie packed her notebook and pencil in her backpack when she saw Sebastian.

Lizzie got excited by seeing Sebastian. It pulled her back into her reality softly. He made her happy when she didn't feel happy. "Sebastian!" Lizzie said as she ran toward him like a little kid. Sebastian hugged her.

Lizzie pulled away after a few moments. He kissed her cheek. "Elizabeth." He said firmly. The teacher left the room leaving the couple in the doorway next to an empty computer room. "Have you picked out a university you fancy?" He asked. He grabbed her hand as Lizzie walked the hall towards her room after a long day of lectures.

Lizzie couldn't understand why college was such a big deal. "I've been looking." Lizzie lied. She felt shame reach into her like a monster pulling at the inside of her vocal cords. Lizzie had pulled her backpack off and threw it across the room. She thought the damn thing was too heavy. Lizzie sighed as her head hit her pillow. Sebastian laid down on the other side of the bed.

He noticed her behavior was a bit different than usual. He lifted his eyebrow as if to ask her what was up. "Elizabeth," he coaxed firmly. "What seems to be the matter?" He asked.

Lizzie smiled. "Josie wants me to pick a different university than her. I always imagined we would go to the same one." She said. She placed her right hand into his. He squeezed gently.

Sebastian looked deep into her eyes. "What if you go to Europe and study?" He asked. Lizzie's eyes lit up. "With me?" He questioned smoldering at his answer.

She blushed. She squeezed his hand back. "That's perfect." Lizzie said. Sebastian smiled at his beautiful Elizabeth Saltzman.

Lizzie looked into his eyes, she paused giving a confused look. "What university?" She asked. Sebastian chuckled. "Elizabeth, we could settle in Plymouth where the Mayflower set off." He answered. "I grew up not far from there." He said. "I'm happy to be with you." He answered. He cupped her cheeks and drew her in for a peck on the lips.

Lizzie smiled after kissing him. She opened her eyes and blushed harder. She felt embarrassed of how much heat went to her face. "What if we do settle in Plymouth?" She said.

Lizzie let go of holding his hand and stood up happy. She looked down at Sebastian and turned to her backpack. She pulled her iPhone out of her backpack and began calling her mother. Lizzie sat back down as the phone rang.

Sebastian smiled. His eyes seemed to be glued to Lizzie's lips. He stood up inching closer to her when Caroline picked up the phone. "Mom?" Lizzie said staring into Sebastian's eyes.

Caroline answered her daughter, "yes, Liz?" Lizzie felt her other hand being squeezed by Sebastian's. Lizzie looked at her hand and smiled at him. "Mom, I was thinking I want to go to Plymouth university and I want you to meet someone." She said excitedly.

"Liz, I've met Sebastian through Skype." Caroline said smiling to herself. "I meant meet him in person. We can get an apartment together near my university." Lizzie said.

"Liz, have you thought this out? I think it's a great idea. I'd love to have to here in England." Caroline said. Caroline hesitantly said, "I met someone that I want you to meet."

Lizzie's smile turned into a scowl. "Oh, who?" She asked. Sebastian could feel Lizzie's discomfort to her mother dating another man. A man that wasn't her father. Caroline could hear the shift in her daughter's voice.

"You'll find out when you get here." Caroline said. Lizzie pressed her lips together. "Mom, I need to get to my next class. I love you. I gotta go. Bye." Lizzie said hanging up the phone.

Lizzie tried to relax. She got more annoyed. Her phone left her hands as Sebastian could tell that without removing the phone she would have thrown it. Lizzie rolled her eyes at Sebastian. "Elizabeth, relax." He pet her hair gently.

Lizzie nearly growled letting out a deep exhale. She stopped herself because she liked his attention on her. "Don't you Elizabeth me!" She said. Lizzie grabbed his wrist and squeezed her anger onto him.

Sebastian pulled her right hand from his wrist and grabbed her other wrist with his other hand. He pushed her over onto the bed. He hovered over her kissing her lips. Lizzie wanted to be mad, she really couldn't.

Sebastian stopped kissing her lips. He placed his hands on the bed still hovering over her. "Are you ready to chat about it?" He asked. Lizzie pretended to play dumb. "Talk about what?" She questioned. "Elizabeth, your mom has met someone she fancies." He said.

Lizzie pushed him a little in order to get him of her. She sat up and he got comfortable on the bed next to her. The pair were sitting side by side against Lizzie's headboard.

Lizzie opened her mouth to talk to him. She couldn't get the words out. Sebastian looked into her eyes. He was opening his mouth to say something when Lizzie finally spoke up. "My mom has always been single since we were little. She married Stefan Salvatore. I never thought she would date anyone else. I knew she didn't come home for a while. I guess I assumed she was just trying to save Josie and I from the merge." Lizzie breathed out after explaining the situation.

He licked his lips then looked at her. "You should try to be happy for her." He played with her hair again. "It may bother you that she is courting again. You must learn to be happy for her. Your mum seemed happy about meeting me on Skype a while ago. Give her the same chance that she gave me." Sebastian coaxed.

Lizzie's mood improved hearing Sebastian make sense of it. She thought about her life for a few minutes quietly as Sebastian cuddled into her. Lizzie played with his hair for a change. "I hear myself. I hear you. I still want to go to university in England with you and see my mom." She said.

Her mind was made up. She knew what she wanted. She finally knew what she wanted. This was supposed to be hard. She couldn't live with her sister her whole life. Sebastian was another person who could treat her anxieties when needed.

Lizzie laid down in her bed as Sebastian had already laid down by the time she finished thinking. Lizzie cuddled into him. Sebastian didn't need sleep but, he didn't mind pretending for her. He didn't need to go to university and he didn't want to. He saw himself working in the mill with other men and coming home to his beautiful wife, Lizzie Saltzman.
