Ch 3

The next morning I'm abruptly awoken to a pillow being slammed against my skull it making me jump into a sitting position. Once I see it's Lucas I immediately glare at him. "What?" He gives me an amused smile. "You have an appointment today and we need to go pick up your medicine." I immediately groan and grab the spare pillow laying back down with it covering my head. I hear Lucas sigh before he tries to grab the pillow from me but I'm holding onto it to tightly. Next thing I know I'm being lifted up with the pillow and shaken around. I let out a loud and frightened squeak of surprise holding onto the pillow for dear life. "Let me down!" Suddenly I'm dropped roughly onto the bed and I sit up glaring at him. "Oh you are so dead." I scramble to get out of the bed while Lucas immediately runs off cackling. I quickly follow after him carefully bypassing and maneuvering my way around Hendery and Yangyang. I make my way into the kitchen dodging a cooking Kun and growl in annoyance when Lucas dodges to the other side of the table behind Ten. Lucas just sticks his tongue out at me childishly and I grumble under my breath. "What's going on?" I can tell Ten and Kun are extremely confused. "I hit him upside the head with a pillow then picked him up and shook him around before dropping him on the bed. Now he's grumpy and mad." Kun turns down the stove before putting a gentle almost motherly hand on my shoulder. "Come along now I know you have some important things today so go get dressed and I'll fix you a plate of food before you leave." I sigh but give a small thankful smile and go back to the bedroom. I see Xiaojun sitting up in bed playing his guitar while the dog Bella lays beside him asleep. I smile at the sight then head to my drawers and quickly pull out some clothes. I turn to see Xiaojun looking at me curiously and I give a shy wave. He gives a small smile and wave back. I then start to head towards the door when he speaks up. "Hendery's in the shower." I frown slightly before checking the time on my watch. Seeing it's getting kinda late I sigh. Xiaojun studies me for a minute before offering. "I can look away and close my eyes so you can change right quick." I give him an appreciative look and nod. He then closes his eyes and turns his head. Feeling relieved I quickly change into some black jeans and a black long sleeved shirt with some tennis shoes. I then clear my throat and Xiaojun turns his head back opening his eyes. He looks me over frowning slightly at the long sleeves. "It's supposed to be pretty warm today." I shrug him off grabbing my satchel and head towards the door. I then slip into the kitchen where a bowl of breakfast is waiting. I smile at Kun in thanks before sitting down and eating happily. Soon Lucas walks into the kitchen frowning. "Come on Jiang or we'll be late." I nod finishing my food and wipe my mouth with a napkin before rushing over to Lucas's side. We head downstairs and to the car getting in then Lucas starts driving. "So what's the plan for today?" He peeks over at me. "Well your meeting your new therapist and then we have to go pick up your meds and then we're going shopping for a few things." I nod and look out the window as we pull up to the therapist office. I frown slightly at how fancy it looks feeling slightly uncomfortable. Lucas and I both get out then head inside telling the receptionist of my appointment time. We then sit down in the lobby and soon I'm called back by the therapist. I follow the man into a back office and look around relaxing a little at the simple layout. I go to sit in the small cushioned chair that faces him. He introduces himself before asking curiously. "So I was told you might have some scheduling problems." I nod. "My cousin brings me to my appointments and he has a very busy schedule." He nods in understanding and looks thoughtful for a moment. "How would you feel about video call sessions?" I blink before nodding. "That can work." He gives me a bright smile. "Good I'm glad. We'll meet once a week on days that work best for you." I nod and then I'm dismissed we deciding to talk more next session. I skip over to Lucas smiling. "Alright let's go." He chuckles softly and leads me out to the car. We quickly pick up my medicine and then we head to an electronics store. Looking confused Lucas leads me inside and goes up to a worker. "We need a phone and laptop please." I look at Lucas in confusion until he looks at me and tells me to look around and pick something. I gape at him in disbelief. "Lucas your not buying me things." He shakes his head. "Pick something or I'll pick it." Sighing I look around picking out a new iPhone and a grey laptop. We walk out of the store with them once Lucas pays. I immediately dig my phone out and start setting it up putting Lucas's number as my first contact. Soon it's sunset and we're heading back to the dorm. We get out and head upstairs I walking in behind Lucas. Kun looks up and gives me a smile. "How was everything?" I give a thumbs up smiling then show him my new phone. He compliments me on it and asks to put his number in which I let him do. Soon enough everyone's number is in my phone. I smile happily and look at Lucas appreciatively. He grins at me before looking at Kun. "What's the schedule like tomorrow?" Kun looks around making sure everyone is there before answering. "We're just going to do some practicing. Jiang can come and watch." I smile a little before my stomach growls and I blush. Kun and the others chuckle softly before I'm told that there's some leftover food in the fridge for us. I nod thankfully and go to eat then tell Lucas I'm headed to bed laying down and immediately fall asleep.
