Ch 11

The next morning I actually wake up early. Carefully climbing out of bed I go to look through my new wardrobe and pick out the rainbow shirt and jean skirt I bought. I then head to the bathroom and take a shower shaving the small amount of hair on my legs with the razor I stole and snuck. Once I'm finished I hop out of the shower and dry off before putting on the outfit. I then dry and straighten my hair to keep it from poofing and curling up. Once I'm satisfied I do a light makeup then grab my things and head out of the bathroom going back to my room to put my dirty clothes away. Quietly walking in I see Xiaojun awake and he gives me a tired smile his morning voice making my heart do a flip. "Morning." I wish him a good morning smiling happily. I watch him get out of bed and patiently wait for him to get done getting ready I scrolling through my phone. Once he's finished I get up putting my phone away and follow him out of the room heading for the kitchen. All I can feel is nervousness and I take a shaky deep breath before walking into the kitchen with my head held high. I see them all staring at me for a minute before Winwin speaks up happily. "Cute! I love the rainbow top. But the shoes don't really match." Suddenly he gets up and takes my hand dragging me away. We end up in his room and he digs through his closet awhile before he pulls out a pair of cute black gladiator sandals. He hands them over to me with a smile. "There that will match much better." I smile and thank him happily before sitting on his bed and quickly change out of the tennis shoes and into the cute sandals. "Wow they fit perfectly. And they're super cute." He just beams at me. "Thanks my boyfriend bought them for me for my birthday." I blink at the casualness of how he just said that sentence before tilting my head. "You have a boyfriend? Lucky. I've been single since birth so I'm like a complete and utter unprepared mess if I ever do get a guy that actually likes me. Which will be a miracle." He looks me over before speaking up. "What about Xiaojun?" I blink at him before blushing. "I'm pretty sure that Xiaojun doesn't see me in a romantic way. I mean yeah he's really cute and sweet but if he just sees me as a friend I'm not going down that road." He nods in understanding and I quickly change the subject. "Can I see a picture of your boyfriend?" He immediately beams and pulls out his phone before sitting beside me. He pulls a picture up to show him and a guy with long hair and a kind smile he actually really good looking. "His name is Yuta. We met when I was previously in the same group as him." I look at him with a smile. "He's handsome. You two also make a cute couple." He blushes thanking me before I can literally see an idea pop in his head. "Why don't we have a sleep over tonight? Just us two. We can do makeovers and talk and watch romance movies while eating junk food." I smile a little shyly. "That'd be really nice actually." He grins and we get up heading back to the kitchen. "Great! I just have to kick Ten out of my room tonight." Said boy looks up in confusion. "Why are we kicking Ten out of the room?" Winwin just calmly sits down. "Jiang and I are having a sleep over. So you'll be sleeping in Xiaojun's room." He gives a little nod surprisingly being very understanding. I take a seat between Xiaojun and Hendery who wishes me a cheerful good morning. I smile wishing him one back and he grins at me. "You look really cute today. The outfit suits you." I blush and give a shy "thanks." He then starts chattering away making jokes and I slowly break out of my shell at the corny jokes he's making not noticing an annoyed looking Xiaojun beside me. After finishing breakfast we all head out of the dorm when Lucas calls my name telling me to wait. I stop and watch the others go anxiously before turning to my cousin. He frowns at me before asking softly. "Why didn't you tell me you didn't like the clothes and were miserable wearing them?" I toe at the floor sheepishly. "I didn't wanna hurt your feelings. And it's kinda hard and awkward to just blurt out 'hey I prefer girl clothes.' And I wasn't comfortable with myself yet." His expression softens. "Well I'm glad your getting more comfortable with yourself." He then checks his phone and quickly ushers me out the door. "Come on or we'll be late." I follow him down to the van and we hop in driving to the practice rooms. Once we reach it I go to sit in the back and watch like usual. As the hours tick by Kun finally calls for break and I get up seeing Hendery skipping over to me. Looking at him curiously he just gives me a bright smile and wraps an arm around my shoulders. We chat his cheerful joking demeanor making me relax and come out of my shell. I can't help but to laugh and giggle at his jokes when suddenly he whispers in my ear. "I think we're annoying someone." I look at him curiously turning my head slightly to see an annoyed looking Xiaojun. Blinking I look back at Hendery and he just gives me a reassuring look. "Just follow my lead and he'll go crazy with jealousy." I can't help but blush a little. "I don't think he sees me that way. He probably just sees me as a friend." He looks at me in amusement. "Honestly at this point he's probably to blind to realize his feelings. So why not give him a little push off the edge?" I hesitate a little. "I don't know." He lays his head on my shoulder and pouts. "Please?" I sigh and reluctantly agree he cheering. I blush and smack his arm making him laugh. It's then that Kun calls for practice again and I go to wait until it's over in the back. After a few more hours we leave and head back to the dorm where I anticipate mine and Winwin's sleep over.
