Ch 6

Over the next few weeks I'm able to get in a routine. I follow the boys to their practices and recordings while also speaking with my therapist every week. And Jia usually brings me my medicine every morning and night. Hearing the usual alarm go off for the day I slowly sit up and stretch rubbing my eyes. I then get out of bed and quickly get dressed then go to meet Jia outside. She gives me a little smile and I instinctively wait for her to hand me my meds. Only this time she gives me a sad awkward smile. "Sorry Jiang I wasn't able to get your medicine this week. I talked with the pharmacist and it seems there's a shortage on your specific medication." I frown looking a little panicked and upset. "But I need my medicine." She gives me an apologetic look. "Im sorry but there's nothing I can do." I lower my head and run a hand through my hair anxiously. "Well thanks for trying I guess." She gives me a sad smile and apologizes again before leaving. I sigh and reluctantly walk back into the dorm and head to breakfast. The boys are all talking excitedly about tonight's concert. I silently take my seat beside Xiaojun and pick at my breakfast. I can feel a few stares on me and Xiaojun leans over whispering. "Are you okay?" I look at him and give a fake cheerful smile. "I'm fine Jun. just tired." He slowly nods and once everyone finishes breakfast we head to the practice rooms so they can get ready for the concert tonight. I go to sit in the back on the couch and get lost in thought internally panicking over not being able to get my medicine. Sighing quietly I watch the boys practice and once it's time to leave for the concert I stand backstage in a corner watching them perform. Once the concert is over it's late and we all head home. Everyone changes and gets ready for bed and I reluctantly crawl into my bed to lay down. Only I don't feel tired and my insomnia kicks in due to not having my sleeping meds. I toss and turn then lay on my back staring up at the ceiling. After laying there for awhile I quietly climb out of bed, grab my phone and sneak out of the dorm. Walking through the streets to distract myself it seems like minutes and then the sun is rising. Quickly heading back to the dorm I quietly slip back in and go to my room grabbing some clothes to change into for the day. I then head to the kitchen seeing Kun making breakfast. I wish him a soft "good morning" and then take a seat. Soon the table is full and I eat silently before heading out with the boys then going out at night because of my inability to sleep this going on for days on end.
