Chapter 6

Nobody's POV:

FLASHBACK

Y/N went back inside the house and immediately called Emma. "Emma...." She cried on the phone to her "hey Y/N what's wrong? How did the talk with Hanma go?" She asked concerned because the way Y/N was crying on the phone to here didn't seem like things went well for her. "Emma he never loved me..." she cried "what do you mean?" Emma asked confused and worried for her friend "He- he said he was lying and that I was just an obedient toy for him. He said I'm only good on my knees and for being a cum dump for him, I-I found him in bed with another girl and things escalated and I-... Emma I shot his leg and I kicked him out" Y/N sobbed on the phone to the one person she could say was dearest to her. "Y/N it's okay that fucking bastard deserved it" She said through her teeth "Why don't you come over and stay with me until you feel better okay?" She hummed "I'll have Mikey pick you up". Y/N agreed and waited for Mikey to pick her up at her apartment.

"Mikey... I need you to pick up Y/N... please." She asked her older beloved brother "huhhh?? I'm in the middle of a game Emma, tell her to walk over she's done it before and you guys are always so annoying with your girl sleep overs" Mikey said focusing on his game "Ken-chin! No fair this game is rigged" he said shoulder bumping Draken. "Pleaseeee please please pleaseee I'm begging you! She shot Hanma in the leg... she's going to need somewhere safe to stay and if she's here I know they won't touch her because we have you to protect us!" Emma begged Draken paused the game and looked back at Emma "she did what?" He said raising an eyebrow. "They got into a big fight and she threw him out she was pushed to her edge" Emma said, Mikey sighed "you know you guys are annoying" he said "I'll be back Ken-chin and don't start the game without me" he said "yeah yeah" Draken said laying down in his best friend's bed, Mikey got up to grab the keys to his motorcycle and headed out to pick up Y/N.

Emma and Y/N stayed up all night together talking about Hanma and Y/N's break up. Emma was so heart broken for her friend that she even cried for her and said if she could she would curse his whole entire family for life. "Hey Emma" Y/N said as they laid in Emma's room tucked into their beds. "Hmm?" Emma hummed, Y/N sighed "thank you for being my best friend" she smiled Emma smiled as well at her friend's kind words "stupid. At this point we're soul sisters" Emma grinned.

END OF FLASHBACK

"Emma..." Y/N smiled sadly. The next year Emma was killed by one of Hanma's friends Kisaki, if only Y/N had known things would of turned out like this and that Kisaki would of killed Emma in the future she would of put a bullet through his head in her living room.

"Emma loved you like a sister, to me you are the last living memory I have of her" Mikey sadly smiled Y/N hugged Mikey "Mikey I'm sorry I couldn't make it I didn't know how to face you all knowing I have had her murder in my house" she sadly said Mikey patted her back "It's okay Y/N I forgive you if you forgive me for just disappearing on you when you also lost something who you dearly loved too" he said. His words touched Y/N heart deeply. After Emma's death Mikey had completely lost it, his life took a down turn and it was easy to tell by his depressing appearance but he looked somehow older and wiser.

He lost his beloved older brother and his beloved little sister so who could blame him? "Mikey why didn't you tell me?" Y/N asked squeezing Mikey tighter "consider it a favor" he shrugged in her embrace. Ran watched Y/N hold Mikey and felt jealousy wave through his body "ahh you're making me jealous Y/N" Ran said pulling her away from Mikey "why not get with somebody more important like me?" Ran teased getting closer to her face Y/N blushed and looked away "I wouldn't be opposed to that but you're not more important than your leader" Mikey chuckled "I don't even know your name..." she said a bit freaked out by the purple haired man's boldest.

Ran was startled by this statement "how rude of me, well I'm Ran Haitani executive of Bonten, that guy over there with the purple mullet is my baby brother Rindou Haitani not to be confused with the psychopath with the pink mullet who drugged you, Sanzu you may recognize him better if he had a mask and long blonde hair, and of course you know Mikey already, leader of Bonten" Ran said smiling.

"I still hate him" Y/N said glaring at Sanzu, Sanzu looked at Y/N and pouted "but I said I was sorry" Rindou smacked Sanzu's head "that's what you get for drugging girls" Rindou spatted and rolled his eyes. Sanzu rubbed the back of his back and scowled at Rindou for hitting him.

Y/N sat and ate breakfast with the boys of Bonten  feeling more comfortable with Mikey being there she knew that if these were Mikey's friends and business mates that she could trust them a bit more than she initially thought she could, Y/N was Emma's childhood friend and Mikey was always there to protect them from any bullies since she didn't have any siblings and her parents were always absent she always considered Mikey and Emma as her own family. Mikey and Y/N laughed at the table joking about how Y/N had the biggest crush in Shinichiro and reminisced about their childhood together it had been a year and a half since she heard of Mikey because he went under the radar when Emma passed. Ran rested his chin on the palm of his hand watching Y/N laugh amused by the light heartedness and laughter she brought to the table. Back at the club she seemed lost, a wandering soul looking for something to make her forget whatever she couldn't forget about.

"Ah I've got some meetings I need to attend to but Y/N you're welcomed to come and stay any time for as long as you want" Mikey smiled "Thank you Mikey" she smiled back Mikey then headed towards the elevator inside the penthouse and headed to a different floor of the building. "Well I should be on my way now too" Y/N said getting up from her chair "no stay" Ran said "let me show you what life with me would be like" Ran smiled "I can't I really have to get to work" Y/N said checking the time it was already 8:03am and she had work at 9am. "Where do you work?" Ran asked, "I work at a local coffee shop why?" Y/N asked raising an eyebrow "which one specifically?" Ran said in a serious voice Y/N gulped "I-Ichigo Cafe" Y/N stuttered, Ran smiled and took out his phone googling the name of the coffee shop. He held his phone up to his ear

"Hi yes I would like to speak to the owner"
"Mm hmm"
"Hi there this is Ran Haitani I'm the executive of Bonten"
"Yes"
"Yes I would like to buy your shop for $500,000"
"Yes of course I can transwire the payment right now let me know if you received the payment"
"Excellent oh and your worker Y/N L/N won't be coming in today please excuse her absence I'm sending you e-documents to sign right now. Mhm thank you have a good day sir"

Ran hung up the phone and looked at Y/N "see? With me you'll never have to worry about working" Ran smiled. Y/N's mouth hung wide open "you'll catch flies gorgeous, but you can keep your mouth open for later tonight" he winked "w-why did you- that business is only worth like $150,000 MAXIMUM, 5-500,000???" Y/N said "Like I said when you're with me you won't have to worry about anything I can take care of you, I can protect you, and I can provide for you" Ran said smiling sweetly at Y/N "I'm done with gangsters" Y/N said furrowing her brows making Ran laugh at her statement "please Hanma?? You've never fucked with a real gangster baby" he said in a lower serious voice something about the way he looked at Y/N made her skin crawl with fear yet it also made her excited and enticed. "God get a room already" Rindou rolled his eyes "no fair I saw her first" Sanzu poured "well that's what you get for DRUGGING WOMEN" Rindou scolded again "Okay MOM" Sanzu bickered back and just like before the both of them were bickering and arguing. Y/N chuckled at their cute relationship and looked back at Ran.

"Okay fine... one day. You can have one day with me" Y/N agreed.
