Hassena was feeling awkward as Anubhav was just staring at her. She didn't knew what to do. She coughed loudly to bring him out from the trance.

"Sir, aapne hume saath baje ane ke liye kaha tha na toh hum aa gaye. Hum plan discuss kar le hume Agra ke liye nikalna hai", she said awkwardly.

Anubhav sensed her awkwardness and his behaviour. He was literally staring at her. He closed his eyes in embarassment.

"Andar aa jaeye. Hum aapko batate hai kya karna hai. Jaldi se hume Agra pohochna hoga.", Anubhav said and she nodded.

They quickly discussed the plan and left for Agra.

Hassena had rested her head on seat while Anubhav was driving. While driving, Anubhav was stealing glances at her. Hassena glanced out from the window. The atmosphere was cold. But, still she opened the window.

Cold breeze hit her face. She closed her eyes and a smiled formed on her face. Her open hair flew at her sides. Anubhav looked at her and smiled. At least, she was not awkward with him and enjoying the ride.

Hassena opened her eyes and glanced at Anubhav. His eyes were on the road. He was driving with concentration. Well, Hassena thought it. In reality, Anubhav’s mind was filled with Mission and Hassena. But, he looked handsome with such a stern face. She couldn't helped to blush a Little.

He looked at her at the same time and their eyes meet.

Jo tere laagi preet mohe
Rooh baar baar tera naam le
Kyon rab se hai maangi yehi dua
Tu hathon ki lakeerein thaam le

Chup hain baatein
Dil kaise bayan mainkarun
Tu hi kehde wohjo
Baat main keh na sakun

Ki sang tere paniyon sa
Paaniyon sa, paniyon sa behta rahun
Tu sunti rahe main kahaniyan sa kehta rahun

Ki sang tere baadlon sa
Baadlon sa, baadlon sa udta rahun
Tere ek ishare pe teri ore mudta rahun

They smiled but immediately realised what they were doing. They looked away. Anubhav concentrated on the driving while Hassena rested her hand on window. She blushed remembering their small eyes lock.

Hassena’s pov

Aapne hamare saath jo bhi kiya, uske liye humne aapko maaf kar diya, lekin kabhi himmat hi nahi kar paye ki hum aapko ek aur mauka de paye. Daar lagta tha ki kahi fir ek baar hamara dil na toot jaye. Jab Holi vale din aapne hume propose kiya, ek baar le liye humne socha ki ek mauka de de lekin fir aapka ‘Nahi’ yaad aya jab humne aapse pucha ki aap humse pyaar karte hai ya nahi. Hum nahi jante ki aap humse kab pyaar karne lage par aap hume har baar aapne pyaar mein gira dete hai Anu? Kyu ho raha hai aaisa? Haar baar hum aapne dimag se jhoot bolte hai ki hum aapse pyaar nahi karte lekin dil ke ek kone mein abhi bhi aapke liye pyaar hai.

Anubhav’s pov

Hum khud nahi jaante Hassena ji, ki hum kab hume aapse pyaar karne lage. Mission Jeet ke vakt humne socha ki mission khatam hone ke baad hum sab se dur chale jayenge lekin fir aapke ehsaas ne hume rok liye. Chah kar bhi aapse dur nahi ja par rahe the. Jab dekho tab hum aapke paas, aaspaas rehne ka maan karta tha. Aaj tak Maa aur Karishma ke alava kabhi bhi kisi mahila ke liye aaisa mehsus nahi kiya. Aapme kuch toh khaas hai Hassena ji. Tab jakar ehsaas hua ki hum aapse prem karne lage hai. Holi vale din jab aapne hume mana kar diya. Dil jaise hazaron tukdon mein tut kar bikhar Gaya par kisi bhi tarah se humne khud ko sambhal liye. Hum nahi jaante ki aap hume dusra mauka degi ki nahi parantu yeh satya hai ki hum aapse jeevan bhar prem karte rahenge.

Anubhav’s pov ended.

"Sir hum aapse kal se kehne ki koshish kar rahe hai par kabhi mauka nahi mila", Hassena said breaking the silence.

He looked at her for a second and then concentrated on the road again and smiled. I think he knew what's the matter. His smile tells that.

"Kya baat karni hai?", He asked.

"Voh parso raat ko humne jo kiya.. voh...", She stopped and closed her eyes in embarrassment.

He smiled and halted the car. Hassena narrowed her eyes at Anubhav in confusion. But, soon diverted her gaze.

"Aapne yaha kyu rok di gadi. Hume jaldi se Agra pohochna hai.", Hassena said still ignoring eye contact.

"Hume aapse baat karni hai. Bohot jaruri", he said; this time seriously. "Hume abhi bhi mission mein ek saath kam karna hai. Isiliye, baar baar awkward situations na bane isiliye sab kuch pehle hi saaf kar dena accha hota hai", Anubhav said.

"Matlab?"

"Hum jaante hai Hassena ji, ki parso raat ko aapne jo bhi kiya gehri neend mein hone ke karan hi kiya. Hum yeh bhi acche se jaante hai ki aap hume bhula dena chahti hai. Hum aapko kabhi hume bhulne se nahi rokenge. Na hi hum aapke upar aapna prem thopna chahte hai.", He took a deep breath.

"Hamare kehna ka yeh matlab nahi tha. Hum nahi chahte the ki hamari kisi bhi harkat se aapko bura lage. Hum aapko hurt nahi karna chahte the", Hassena tried to explain.

"Nahi Hassena ji, aapko embarrassed mehsus karne ki koi avashyakta nahi hai. Hum samajh sakte hai. Aapka kabhi yeh udeshya nahi tha jisse hume bura lage par Mission Jeet ke dauran jo bhi hua hume usse kuch pal ke liye bhula kar iss mission par dhyaan dena chahiye. Aap samajh rahi haina?", Anubhav said with a  smiled.

Hassena nodded.

"Iss mission ki seriousness hume bhi hai sir, par hum nahi chahte the ki aap aapne maan mein koi bhi hopes jagae.", Hassena said.

Anubhav felt bad due to her words.

"Aab se hamare dil mein koi umeed nahi hai", the only line he said and started the engine.

She gave him an unbelievable look. She kept staring at him but later looked away. She rested her head again on the seat and closed her eyes to calm herself.

Whereas, a drop of tear rolled down his cheek. Maybe the first time after his father’s death. This truth broke him more.
