COTE one-shots

A Surprising Request

I'm currently at the cafeteria right now, having lunch with the Ayanokouji Group. This is the first time and hopefully the only time I'm ever going to do this  because to be honest, I can see it to myself that this is completely unlike me.

I'm expecting that their reactions would be completely out of the window but it couldn't hurt to try. They're my friends after all.

"Hey everyone?"

I instantly catch their attention while they continue to eat. I see Akito nodding a bit as he chews on his food, allowing me to continue.

"Can you all help me with something important?" 

"Sure Kiyopon. What is it?" Haruka asked.

"Can you all help me decorate my room?" 

As soon as I said that, all of them started coughing, almost spitting their food out. Keisei and Mako almost choke on their food so they drank up their water immediately. 

As expected, I'm going to get this kind of reaction from them which is completely understandable. 

"Decorate? This is completely unlike you, Kiyotaka-senpai. I never knew you were starting to take interest into this kind of stuff." Tsubasa said while wiping her mouth.

"I think I know where this is going."
Satsuki is staring at me suspiciously for some reason. Does she already knew about it?"

"By decorating, you mean by making your room looking like the perfect date set." As Satsuki said that, this caught Masumi's attention as she also started eyeing me suspiciously.

"Let me guess. you're doing this as it has to do something with you and Karuizawa-san fighting, am I correct?" Satsuki smirked.

I nodded.

"Masumi-chan, is there something wrong?" 

"I…just need to use the restroom. Please excuse me." Masumi stands up and leaves. 

"I'll go with her, don't worry." Mako stands up and follows.

"Kiyotaka-kun…if it's not too personal, do you want to tell us about it? So we could understand the situation better?" Yosuke asked in concern.

"Yeah, I don't mind. So it all started with…"

It was last night, Kei and I were in my room, watching a movie she recommended.You know, typical couple stuff that I'm still trying to learn. While watching, she looks at me and spoke.

"Hey…Kiyotaka…" 

"Hm?" I noticed that she has a serious expression on her face.

"Look. I'm about to get real with you okay? So please answer this one question with complete honesty." She said. 

I only nodded to let her continue.

"Kiyotaka…what am I to you?"

I'm a bit surprised by this question. Well it did came out of nowhere but if she wants an answer, I'll give it to her. 

"You're my girlfriend." 

For some reason, the look on Kei's face shows that my answer didn't quite satisfy her.

"No. More than that. I told you to be honest with me. I know there's something more than just me being your girlfriend."

"What are you talking about? Isn't that what we are? You're my girlfriend and I'm your boyfriend."
