"Daddy where we going?"

Louis reached for Arabella, pulling her out of the car and settling her on his hip, "this is where Harry works. He wanted us to visit," he offered her a small smile.

He looked up to the building, knowing he was at the right place but couldn't figure out where exactly to go other than to find the auditorium.

The younger man has been trying to get him here for two weeks now and luckily Louis finally had an afternoon free despite it being a weekday. He knew as the days wore on Harry was getting more and more impatient, clearly this being important to him. Louis had to move some things around but it was worth it. He was more than excited to see Harry at work and figure out what it is he exactly does. His boyfriend hasn't shared much about his new job, other than he's finally using his degree. Louis figured he was helping out backstage, and the blue eyed man was more than happy to see his boyfriend in action at the job he seemed to enjoy.

"Daddy we see a show?" Arabella asked as she looked around the marbled theater lobby.

"Just gonna watch for a little bit until Harry gets us," Louis said, glancing one way and then another for the right door.

He was grateful it wasn't anytime at all before he found the entrance sign into the auditorium. As carefully as he could, pushing the door open and making sure not to make a peep as he closed it behind him. He put his finger to his mouth to Arabella, and was grateful she nodded back at him as she saw people performing on the stage.

Louis could see this was a rehearsal, his eyes scanning over the stage and seeing lines being run with everyone in practice clothes.

He quietly found seats for them, Arabella wiggling around on her own before she huffed and claimed a seat on her daddy's lap.

Louis too quickly felt his eyes crinkling as he looked down at her. He didn't waste a second before wrapping his arms around her and kissing her head. But it didn't seem she was even paying much attention to him with her eyes locked on the stage. She's only been to a theater once before, and like how she was then she was entranced by what was in front of her now.

"See the musicians sweetheart?" Louis whispered, pointing to the pit of the stage.

Arabella gasped, sitting up on his lap and getting a better look, "they make music?"

Louis let out a quiet chuckle as he nodded and gave her a small squeeze, "yeah, they're playing the music."

"Daddy new people," Arabella pointed to the stage.

Louis looked up from her, the crew moving a few things on the stage and getting ready for the next scene. He kept his eyes out for Harry, hoping he would at least get a glimpse of him while they watched. Louis didn't even know what musical he was working on and he hadn't been paying close enough attention to actually listen to what they were saying.

Before he could really settle himself and focus his eyes caught a familiar curly haired man come on stage. His whole reason for being here was in front of him and talking with someone, pointing here or there and nodding as he listened.

"Daddy! Daddy, Harry!" Arabella pointed excitedly.

"Sweetheart," Louis shushed her, his face going hot as her little voice echoed in the nearly empty theater and every head snapped to them.

"Sir? Who are you?"

"Uhm," Louis cleared his throat, the person Harry was talking to squaring their eyes at him, "I-"

Harry quickly got the other man's attention though, whispering to him and earning a slow nod from him.

"You're fine, enjoy the rehearsal Mr.Tomlinson."
