Louis pulled his glasses off and ran a hand over his face as he leaned against the large window overlooking the city. The man talking in his ear piece was only fueling his growing headache the more he went on.

"I'm not hearing a valid excuse as to why we haven't broken ground yet," he muttered angrily.

And of course when there was silence Louis only felt his blood start to boil. There was nothing he hated more than laziness, people not doing their job because there could be an inconvenience for them.

"Well sir we're still waiting for the paperwork to get finalized with the contractor-"

"That paperwork got filed 2 weeks ago," Louis said, feeling his teeth grit together and face go cold.

He heard a shaky breath on the other end, "yes, the paperwork was signed two weeks ago sir."

Louis furrowed his eyebrows, "what the fuck does that mean?" he spat, his voice already raising.

"I-I uhm-..." he stuttered to himself.

"You didn't put it through?!" Louis yelled, his fists clenching and eyes going wide, "I buy this building, sign the fucking papers and make a design plan to begin the work on it and your dumb ass can't fucking file them?!"

"Mr.Tomlinson I was sure I did but we also have the building on-"

"What?! You can't handle a few fucking projects at once?!"

He knew he was losing it. His heart was pumping angrily out of his chest and Louis was sure veins were popping from his neck as he screamed at the top of his lungs. He could only hear one more word from the other man before Louis felt himself go ice cold.

"You're fired."

"Sir... I'm sorry I can push the papers and-"

He squared his eyes as he heard him about to spew excuses, but Louis' attention was quickly taken away as he heard his office door open, "Christina I-" he stopped himself though, stilling for a moment as he saw a familiar mop of curls come in.

"Mr. Tomlinson?" he heard from his ear piece.

Louis cleared his throat, shifting his gaze away from his boyfriend and focusing back on his phone call, "Mr.Slizer you're done."

"Sir this is the first time I've ever-"

"Bull shit!" Louis snapped, too quickly feeling his anger pick right back up, "this will make it three fucking times you've neglected to get papers filed correctly! It's not fucking rocket science!" he screamed, "you've cost me hundreds of thousands of dollars because you couldn't get off your ass and you allowed my building to just sit there and let nothing get done!"

Louis could feel his chest heaving, his blood pumping, "you're fired Mr. Slizer." he said lowly, not even waiting for a response before he brought his hand up for his bluetooth and hung up.
