Louis glanced down to his keyboard before his eyes flickered back up to the screen, his fingers knowing where to go before he did. He wanted to finish this quickly but of course the further he got into a project the more anal he got about the minor details.

Louis had his favorite album playing on the record player Harry gave him, and he happily admitted he loved having it at home to work to. He was sure he could put the same record on repeat all day, and he definitely has for a few hours. But like his boyfriend promised he's been bringing him new records every week to listen to and he's branched out a little bit.

"Lou?"

The blue eyed man looked at the door from his computer, seeing Harry carefully step in, "hey babe, come in," he smiled softly at him before reaching for his record player speaker and turning it down, "you got up early, I was hoping you'd sleep in."

"If you haven't noticed I tend to wake up when you're not in bed and I can't fall back asleep," Harry chuckled as he fully walked into the room.

Louis hummed as he grinned, pushing himself out of his chair and making his way towards the younger man to wrap his arms around him, "happy birthday," he said gently before standing on his toes to press their lips together.

Harry smiled against him, holding onto him tightly and just barely picking him off the ground, "thank you," he pecked his lips, "are you okay? Why are you up so early?"

"I just had some work stuff to do so I could be free to give you all of my attention today," Louis chuckled, his eyes crinkling as he looked up at him, "I was gonna do the whole breakfast in bed thing and have a little cuddle session with Bells, but you woke up."

"Want me to go back to bed and pretend to be asleep?" Harry was close to beaming, making the older man laugh even more.

"You can do that or I can make breakfast and we can have a quiet morning together for once before we wake Bells up."

"I will happily watch you attempt to make breakfast," Harry teased him, "are you done working though? We don't have to-"

Louis shook his head, "you're up now, the day is officially all about you," he said cheerfully before standing on his toes to connect their lips, "I hope you're ready for today."

"Please lie to me and tell me you didn't go overboard," Harry said through an airy laugh.

"Super simple, don't worry about it."

Harry eyed him for a moment, Louis keeping his straight face for all of two seconds before he smirked and winked at him, "babe you said my gift was the money for the account," he huffed.

"Well I lied and you should know better," Louis laughed as he led him out of the office, "my big surprise is after dinner, but other than that I'm going easy today, I swear."

Harry hummed, not believing him in the slightest as they made their way to the kitchen.

The blue eyed man smiled sweetly at him, knowing today will be beyond anything that Harry could think of. And as much as he would have loved to wake him up with breakfast he was actually happy to have the quiet time with him. Niall and Elisa weren't up and that gave the two of them a little time to themselves before the day with everyone began.

Louis tried his best to make Harry's favorites, omelets, sausage, and french toast, and of course cut up some fresh fruit. He honestly didn't think it would be all that hard, but he was struggling majorly with the omelets and the curly haired man could only laugh at him for so long before he got up to help him.

They were almost done by the time Elisa and Niall came down, and even though Louis didn't do everything he was proud of what he did do. Seeing everything put onto plates the pair were ready to wake Arabella up. But before they even got to the stairs the 4 year old was sprinting down.
