"You excited?"
"You have no idea," Harry said through a wide smile, the closer they got the more he was bouncing in his seat.
Louis chuckled to himself, squeezing the younger man's thigh as he glanced out the window, "just about there."
Harry almost shrieked at hearing that, "Gemma texted and said they're waiting for us."
"We're on time, don't worry," Louis rolled his eyes fondly.
"Oh that's right, Louis Tomlinson is never late, everyone else is just early," Harry teased him, earning a playful side-eye from the older man.
"That's right," he hummed.
Harry scoffed, but his attention was quickly taken away at seeing a mob of people down the street, "holy shit, were you expecting this amount of people?"
"The media loves any openings I do, but they're excited about this," Louis grinned at him.
It was impossible not to miss the curly haired man's blinding smile, and the closer they got it only grew. He's been waiting months for this, but so have multiple other people. Louis hasn't talked about his plans in the news, wanting everyone to see it in person and not in the media. Mostly he wanted to do that for the kids that will be living here, hoping he could give them a real surprise.
"Alright sweetheart, you ready?"
Harry didn't even answer him before he opened the door, and basically shot out of the car.
Louis let out an amused chuckle as he shook his head and followed him out. As usual, as soon as he was seen the camera flashes went rapid. But he didn't answer any of them, only waved and smiled as he pulled Harry into his side and made his way towards the door of the building.
The blue eyed man wasn't sure he's heard so many people yelling like this before, or taking as many pictures as they were. If anything Louis was a bit surprised with the amount of media here considering they were in Queens, but clearly this was a big story to cover.
Harry almost had a skip in his step as they walked to the front of the building, and Louis was quick to motion for a microphone.
"Hello everyone and thank you so much for coming out," the older man said happily, making most of the screams quiet, "I'm Louis Tomlinson and this is my boyfriend Harry Styles, and we couldn't be more excited about today and finally getting these guys into a proper building," he said, glancing over to the group of kids and seeing them beaming, "I'll take media in after I show the kids around. I don't want to keep these guys in the cold, so come on, welcome to the Style LGBTQ house, and your new home," Louis smiled softly at them.
As soon as he said it Louis heard the screams, his boyfriend maybe one of the loudest as he squealed next to him.
He waved for the kids to follow and Louis was sure he saw a few of them close to running as he cut the ribbon.
This was always one of his favorite things about a new building, the opening, the shocked faces, and seeing all of his hard work appreciated.
As soon as the kids were inside there was immediate yelling, not only from the kids but from the adults that volunteer there as well.
Everything was brand new, from the floors to the ceiling Louis gutted it and completely restored the entire building.
It was decorated for Christmas which only made the kids that much happier at seeing the huge tree and festive colors that took over the lobby.
"Louis this is insane!" Harry ran up to his boyfriend before crushing him in a hug.
He chuckled into the younger man's neck, quickly wrapping his arms around him, "this is just the lobby babe, there are five other floors to see."
