LOKI part 10

Lucy has come back without you twice now with a full bucket of water and Loki had questioned her each time. But she just sloshed the bucket of water in her small hands happily as she replied. “She’s over by the water fountain!”  Before hefting the bucket up and going over to Anne to pour the water out for their makeshift river, but he couldn’t shake the feeling of unease settling over him. “Oh what’s the matter Loki? She’s just around the bushes, this is a public park nothing bad can happen.” Lucy’s mother said, pointing to the bend as Loki shifted in his seat uncomfortably as he crossed his arms. “Hhmm I know, new father syndrome. I tell you when Anne’s older sister was born my husband hovered too, always thinking there was some evil shadow about to snatch her away. But give it time you’ll stop feeling paranoid.” Anne’s mother said, taking a long sip of her coffee as all three adults watched Lucy run off to get another pail of water. As he was about to answer Loki quickly stood when Lucy came running back. “(N) isn’t at the water fountain anymore! Mommy come with me to check the bathrooms.” She said grabbing onto her mother’s wrist making the ginger woman turn to her friend before looking at Loki who was quickly looking around. “Don’t worry! She must be in the bathroom, give me a minute and I’ll bring her back.” Dorathy said quickly following her daughters lead to the bathroom. Standing as well to look around with Loki, Maggie turned to Anne. “Anne c'mere!” She ordered, making the young blonde turn and quickly run over as she and her mother followed Loki around the corner as he whipped his head around calling your name. Gritting his teeth in worry the raven haired god turned to Dorathy as she came running with her daughter in her arms. “Maggie call the police, (N) wasn’t in the bathroom and no one saw anything when I asked! She must’ve been kidnapped!” Dorathy yelled as Loki’s heart stopped before he suddenly turned. “I need to tell my brother.” He hissed teleporting to the Avengers Tower leaving the two panicked mothers at the park to call the police and to keep looking for you. Suddenly appearing in front of his brother in the lounge area Loki yanked him off of the couch. “Call Father, (N) was taken from the park. We must find her!” Loki yelled before turning to the Towers AI “Tony’s computer, contact everyone, (N) gone missing!” Loki ordered feeling himself start to shake as his eyes grew red in worry, making Thor stare flabbergasted at his younger brother before gently grabbing his brothers arm to get his attention. “What do you mean she’s gone missing?” He asked turning his brother around to face him. “As I mean, she’s gone missing! Someone took her from the park! She was getting buckets of water to use for her play date with Lucy and Anne. She left my sight for only a minute and then she was gone!” Loki yelled as he slowly began to shake and his skin growing cold and turned ice blue making his brother carefully hold his shoulders. “Brother, do not worry. We will find her, and punish whoever took her.” Thor said  sternly as the door burst open by Natasha and Wanda. It would take close to an hour for everyone to arrive and explain what had happened before they all spread out using their own way of finding you within the city. And it would be Heimdall that found you all because you were using your abilities. You had made it outside, true you landed on your face and probably broke your nose from the five foot drop but you were outside. The dead grass felt coarse and spikey, the dirt was practically concrete with how compacted it was. But it was plants and soil, something you could use with your powers. And just as your powers were flaring within your chest because you were back in your natural element the back door swung open with such force that it cracked the old shutter type wall behind it making you lurch away by instinct and further into the back yard. Stumbling away and towards the rusting white metal shed, you turned to your father and tripped backward roughly lading on your butt as he charged at you with the beginnings of an angry shout when out of nowhere a vine shot out of the ground and whipped the large man across his face, with a sharp snapping sound. And for a moment everything stalled. As you both stared at each other, you knew. You could finally beat him. And you would beat him if were the last thing you could do. Quickly scrambling to your feet and balling your fists up to your chest. “I-I want to l-leave! You can't keep me here!” You shouted as your father snapped out of his shocked state and glared at you with so much anger in his eyes you took a step back and swallowed hard. “And who’s going to stop me, huh? You? You're just a pathetic little brat I should have handled a long time ago.” Your father growled, starting to march toward you again, making you again use your powers to try and stop him in his tracks. This time using ivy to grab and wrap around his legs, having it quickly grow and cover him up to his waist. “I-I am serious! I can stop you because my real papa showed me how to!” You yelled as you thought of Loki which angered your father more than he already was as he started tearing at the plates holding him. “The hell did you just say!?” He roared, breaking the vines making you flinch and step back before forcing a twisted guava tree to quickly sprout and tangle him in its branches as it grew. "Loki's my papa! He's kind to me! He feeds me! He plays with me! He makes sure I'm happy! He taught me how to be strong and how to use my powers! Loki never hurts me! He doesn't scare me! He's my papa, not you!" You screamed, feeling tears starting to build and fall as more trees sprouted with your growing emotions, and they continued to grow. As you tried to dry your eyes, causing a forest to form around you and in the other backyards until a very familiar shout made you quickly look up and around.
