Important A/N at the end... MUST READ!
Chapter 17: Spяing Bяeak
It's been four months since my date with Dylan and although there have been awkward situations since then everything has been going really well. Now we were in the cars, on our way to Santa Barbara for our Spring Break, just like Brittany promised us.
In my car I was with my lovely boyfriend of three months- who was currently sitting shotgun while I drove. In the back was Candy and Cole acting like lovesick puppies. But I guess I should be grateful that they weren't dry humping while making out.
That would be a horrific thing to witness. I would seriously stop the car in the middle of the highway and force them out of the car so I could drive away and leave then stranded.
"How much longer?" Candy groaned. "I am so bored! Why the hell did we decide to drive instead of fly over to Santa Barbara. I can't believe we thought sixteen hours was going to be fine."
"We're almost there. I think we are just like twenty minutes away," I reassured Candy as I put my signal on and switched lanes.
Out of everyone in the car, I have driven the most- eight out of the sixteen hours.
I'm not complaining or anything because I actually like driving unlike the person sitting next to me currently. I looked over at him to see that he was already staring back at me with a small smile on his face. I grinned over at him before focusing my attention back on driving. Throughout the three months of our dating I found that I really really likes him. Even though I originally thought that I would never like him this much, I am so glad that he changed my mind. I couldn't have wished for anyone better.
"Ooh, turn the radio up! I love this song, it's my jam!" Candy squealed in excitement as I reluctantly turned the radio up, instantly regretting my decision.
"You got me in chains, you got me in chains for your love
But, I wouldn't change, no I wouldn't change this love
You got me chains, you got me in chains for your love
But, I wouldn't change, no I wouldn't change this LOOOOOVVVVVEEEEE" Candy screeched out.I groaned as I heard Nick Jonas' voice. I could not believe that Candy had such bad music taste, but I guess that it was better than Justin Bieber although not by much.
Twenty painful minutes passed excruciatingly slow, but we finally reached our destination.
"The beach!" Candy squealed jumping out of the car and running out to the shore that was about thirty feet away making me sigh in relief.
I loved Candy, but not when it came to her singing.
"I think it's too late to go to the beach," Cole stated as he clambered out of the car.
I shrugged in response, "It's only seven, but I am totally zonked. There is no way I am going to wake up at four in the morning ever again in my whole entire life."
We all got out of the car and made our way out to where the sand was. I for one was excited to get a good glance at the California shores that everyone raves about.
"Holy shit, look at this view of the house," Cole stated in awe.
I turned around and glanced at the house, having to make a second glance out of pure admiration.
The back of the house, where I parked at, was cool, but this part was utterly breath taking and gorgeous.
There was a wooden staircase that came from the balcony down towards the sand, most of the house was made out of windows that showed the fancy interior of the house inside. The whiteness of the walls on the outside complimented the brown borders that surrounded the window panes and the things that held up the covers to block the sun.
