Chapter 10: Rєgrєtful Fєєlings
"What took you guys so long? Jeez Louis, y'all better have a good reason for making me wait to explain about what all you guys should pack for the trip because knowing all of you, you guys will pack everything but what you actually need," Brittany declared giving the three of us a stern look as we came back to the cafeteria.
"Can't you just text us later so that we don't actually have to listen to you talk again?" River grumbled acting even more poopy and bitchy than before. I guess that's what happens when you get punched.
Brittany just rolled her eyes at him in annoyance, "If you think that I'll actually remember to text you guys later, then you obviously don't know me at all. Anyways since it's gonna be a kinda long flight, like three hours or something. Unless y'all want to drive and switch shifts for 17 hours with your designated car group, then sure whatever floats your boat. But anyways, we should all dress super comfy but ready for the heat because it's Cali! Okay, then for the week we'll be staying there just pack shorts, tank tops, short-sleeved shirts, comfy clothes for just hanging out on lazy days, light sweaters, bathing suits, sunglasses, underwear, and condoms if you know what I mean, lovebirds," Brittany said giving a pointed look at John and Jessica.
"Brittany!" Jessica exclaimed blushing a bright shade of red as she ducked behind John's arm in embarrassment.
"What?" Brittany asked with an innocent look on her face that would put all angels to shame. "Anyways Lana, Brooke, Candy, and Kennedy I need your guys' numbers so just put my number in your phones and text me." She recited her phone number to us as soon as we pulled out our phones.
Brittany opened up her mouth to probably inform us some more about the trip but the bell rang cuing everybody to leave and go back to class and fry our brain cells out.
"We'll talk more about the details later as the date gets closer, but now you know the gist of what to pack and what not. See y'all later," Brittany said waving bye to us as she left going to her classes.
I stood up along with everybody else going to go throw away my trash as Lana, Kennedy, and Candy went with me.
"Ok, what was up with Dylan and River going after you in the hallway? And why was River all moody when he came back and then Dylan all happy like he just found out that unicorns exist and his mom bought him one to cuddle with and forever love?" Candy questioned raising an eyebrow at me in question.
"Oh that?" I laughed awkwardly not sure how she would react when I tell her what happened out in the dreaded hall.
Candy raised an eyebrow at me with a look that told me that she already caught me bullshitting.
"Ok, just please don't get mad at me, ok?" I asked in a pleading tone.
Candy just rolled her eyes, "The only thing that I would get mad at you about is if you went out in the hall and started talking smack about me to those two holy gods that decided to grace you with their beautiful presence and gorgeous looks along with their really cool personalities."
"Ok A.) I would never talk smack about you, B.) I don't really think that River's personality is something that you should be bragging about or dreaming about for that matter, and C.) I don't really have a C but I just felt the need to say it but yeah." I said finishing my teensy weensy mini rant.
"Well River's personality may be a little bit of a downer-"
"Try a lot a bit," I interrupted Candy.
"-but, his looks make up for the kind of suckish attitude," Candy finished without acknowledging my interruption.
I snorted, "Um, River's looks don't even compare to what some of the guys at New York looked like," I bluffed trying to make River seem like a little infant troll next to a really cute guy our age with amazing washboard abs, personality, and looks. 'Cause who would pick the baby that poops all day long and makes you waste money on it, compared to that fancy hunk of a guy? Well I mean if you're Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt, Octomom, or Bob Marley 'cause he's got like thirteen kids, then I guess you would appreciate those little drooling monsters, but somebody in their right mind? Yeah, I don't think so.
