ALEXIA WAS FINISHING UP HER look for the day. She was about to go to a restaurant about fifteen minutes away to meet Jay so that they could talk about what had went down the previous night. Alexia felt horrible about it too. Of course she understood that Jay had other things to take care off— especially his daughter.
But all she wanted was a text. All Alexia wanted was a text from him. That's all she wanted. But no matter what she wanted, Alexia just felt horrible about it. All she wanted was for Jay to be happy with her. Alexia wanted to scream about it but all she could do was take a deep breath and get ready to leave. Alexia looked at herself in the mirror, loving her outfit. It was a long, black leather coat with all black thigh high boots over black pants and a top that was perfect for her body.
"Alright." Alexia whispered to herself, "You got this." She whispered, grabbing her things and going downstairs to her rented car. The drive to First Watch was short but Alexia was anxious. She felt like she had to really prepare herself for heartbreak even though things between them weren't even serious. Right now, it was purely sex. But Alexia was going to be extremely upset if this is where Jay ended things.
Alexia texted Jay that she was there, Jay texting back immediately. She read the text saying that Jay was in the restaurant already, taking a deep breath and going into First Watch. Alexia talked to the hostess and was brought to the table that Jay was seated in. "Hey, Lex." Jay said softly, Alexia sitting down. "Hi, Jay." Alexia said quietly.
It was silent as the two just looked at each other, both of them not really knowing exactly what to say. The waitress came, taking the two out of the awkward situation only temporarily. They ordered drinks, Alexia getting a lemon water while Jay got a coffee. Jay cleared his throat, "You did good last night, Alexia. You sound so strong on the mic." Jay said.
"Thanks." Alexia said, looking down at the menu. "I really liked that promo, too. I worked hard on rehearsing it." Alexia said, closing the menu after figuring out exactly what she wanted. "I could tell. It was the best promo you've ever done." Jay said. "Thanks." Alexia said quietly.
The waitress came back with their drinks, the two ordering their food and looking at each other as the waitress walked away. Alexia was the one to cleared her throat now, "I want to apologize, Lex-" Alexia cut Jay off, "Actually, I want to apologize, Jay." Alexia said, "I want to say that I'm sorry for being so inconsiderate of everything.. I feel really bad and I'm sorry." Alexia said, letting out a breath.
"Do you accept my apology?" Alexia asked, a small pout on her face making her lips pop out. Jay's eyes quickly glanced at her lips before looking back up, "Of course I do. But I'm sorry too." Jay said. "I'm sorry for being inconsiderate too." Alexia gave him a confused look, "What were you inconsiderate about?" Alexia questioned.
