Chris cleared his thought before starting to speak. "Last time on Total Drama Island... The competitors were forced to conquer their deepest, darkest fears. Not all of them succeeded, but others surprised the group and faced their fears head-on. In a shocking twist, Tyler let the Bass down when he was too chicken to face the chicken. Get it? And it was "Buh-Bye, Tyler." Once again, the Bass find themselves behind. Can they pull this one out of the water? Find out today on Total. Drama. Island!" He said. Chris led us near the lake. There was a board and stuff on it. I sighed. "Bass, Gophers, today's challenge is a true summer camp experience. A canoe trip. You'll be paddling your canoes across the lake... to Boney Island! When you get there, you must portage your canoes to the other side of the island, which is about a two-hour hike through treacherous, dense jungle." Chris said to the remaining campers from last episode. "We've gotta pour what?" Geoff asked. ""Portage."" Chris repeated. There was a pause. "Dude, walk with your canoe." Chris said. "Oh." Geoff said. Chris continued his speech for the challenge. "When you arrive at the other end of the island, you'll build a rescue fire that will be judged by me. The first team to paddle home and return their canoes to the beach is the winner of invincibility! Move, campers, move! Oh, wait! One more thing I should mention. Legend has it, if you take anything off the island, you'll be cursed forever!" "Yeah, haha! A cursed island! Whoo!" Owen cheered. "Now, get in your canoes and let's have some fun!" Chris told us. People partnered up with their fellow team mates. I saw Trent, wanting me to go with him. He was pointing at the boat and basically saying that we should go canoe together. "Come on, Gwen! You and me, open water! What do you say?" Cody said behind me. I turned around, grabbed his arm and pushed him down. I looked back at Trent and saw that Lindsay was talking to him. "Trent! You have to come with us!" She said. I looked back at Cody and told him "Fine. But I'm in charge." I walked over to the canoe of my choice and sat down in it. There was a life vest inside of it. I grabbed it and put it on. "Just follow my technique. I'm one-eighty-seventh Cherokee, you know? Which means, like, the tribe could totally, like, claim me at any time." I heard Izzy say. "Let's hope it's today." Leshawna said.  Cody tried lifting up the canoe on his own. I helped him then sat back down in the front of the boat. I grabbed a oar and began paddling towards Boney Island. "So, do you wanna go out sometime?" Cody asked me. "No." I said to him. "How 'bout Friday night?" "No." "Saturday's good for me. How 'bout Saturday?" Cody asked. "I'm not going out with you. Ever!" I yelled at him. "Okay, fine. Sheesh. So, is Sunday out of the question?" Cody asked. I took my oar, whipped it back and hit Cody in the kiwis. "Got it." Cody managed to get out. We passed by D.J and Geoff. "Dang, dude. That is so bad, we need a new word for how bad that is. See, datings' like feeding a bunny. You want the bunny to come to you, so you don't make any sudden moves. Here bunny, bunny, bunny. You drop a heart-shaped, handmade clay bowl on a bunny, and the bunny's gonna run, man. You feelin' me?" D.J said. I was about to say hi but he was talking to Geoff. I just kept paddling. Eventually, we were getting closer to the island. "I think I know why you keep shooting me down. It's because of Trent, isn't it? Look. I'm pretty tight with Trent. And I was definitely sensing an "I'm into Gwen" vibe from him. I'll put in a good word for you, you know, if you want." Cody told me. I turned around to look at him. "Wow. That's really cool of you." I said. "Eh, well." Cody said. "If you can get us in the same boat on the way home, I'll so owe you one." I told him. " Interesting that you would say that. See, I'm in a bit of trouble myself." Cody told me. "What do you mean?" I asked. "Well, I kind of bet Owen that if I got your bra, he'd do all my dishes for the rest of the competition." I hit Cody in the kiwis again. "Heh, right. Asking too much. Got it. Hey, was that there earlier?" Cody asked me. "I don't think so." I told him. There was fog surrounding us. We were near the island. Our canoes hit the shore of the island and we all looked around. "Okay. Did you see that skull? How cool is that?! It's like this place is haunted or something!" Izzy said. Hopping out of the boat. I got out and so did Cody. We both lifted up our canoe and I said. "Let's just get this over with." My whole team began running with their canoes. So did I. We were all looking around at some of the stuff that we had seen. Skulls, bears, deers. You name it we saw it. We kept running until a tree had fallen in front of us. "Gah! I think I saw something" He said. We all heard rustling in the bush. We looked and saw something. "Monster Beavers!" Cody screamed. We were all screaming an running.  We came to a stopping point. "Dead end!" Owen said. "Hey, they're leaving!" Trent said. I looked back over and saw that the beavers were leaving. "Did anybody pack a change of underwear?" Owen asked. We all laughed at his joke. "No, seriously." Owen said. Farting. He awakened some birds or pterodactyls. I don't know what they were. There were various remarks of disgust regarding Owen's fart. "Oh man." Owen said.  We all screamed. "I am definitely gonna need new underwear." I heard Owen say. "Someone do something!" I yelled to the group. "Oh, wait! Look!" Cody said, pulling out a rapped loaf of bread. "Where did that come from?" I asked him. "I was gonna make us a romantic picnic." He responded. "With bread from your pants?!" I yelled at him. "Just throw it already!" Trent told him. Cody threw it and we were on the run from the birds. "It worked!" I yelled. "Come on, the race isn't over yet! We still have to burn stuff!" Izzy told us. We kept running then we stopped. "Whoa. Guys, uh, don't wanna panic here, but I'm shrinking!" Trent told us. He was sinking into the ground. I began panicking. "Uh-oh." Trent said. "Trent's stuck! I'm coming, Trent!" Lindsay said walking over to where Trent was. She walked into the quicksand and began to slowly fall in. "I'm stuck too! I so didn't see that coming." Lindsay said. "Help! Somebody help us!" Trent yelled. Cody came swinging by on a rope. Holding his hand out, ready to save the two.  Well, he missed and flopped into a near by tree. The rope swung back over to the center of the sand. Trent's hand stuck out and he grabbed onto it. The group was cheering. "Booyah!" Owen yelled. Cody slowly arose from where he had landed. "Whoa. Hey, thanks, bro. You're a life saver." Trent told him. " I am?" Cody asked. "My hero! Where did you learn to do that?" Lindsay said while hugging Cody. "You know, I watch a lot of movies." Cody responded. "This is very touching, guys, but we've still got a challenge to win!" I told my team. We had found a resting spot and sat there for about 10 minutes. Trent and Cody had gone to a private place to talk about something. We heard screaming from the Bass and saw that Harold had thrown their oars in their fire. I giggled. We were gonna win this one. Our fire on the other hand, kept dying out on us. "This ought to do the trick! It's a handmade fire-starter I made from some tree sap and saved. Stand back, guys. This is gonna be big." Izzy said. I hid behind a rock and waited. I heard a loud boom then looked back at what had happened. "Whee-hee-hee! We have our fire-building winner! Point for the Gophers!" Chris said in his airplane. "Where did you learn to do that?" Heather asked Izzy. "Oh, you know, I spent a summer training with the reserves. Yeah, I got in to some trouble there and like, blew up the kitchen by accident, which is why the RCMP is like, still all over my butt. I am so totally AWOL!" Izzy said. Wow, she can talk fast. Our team put out the fire and walked back over to the shore. "Guys, since you're both a bit shaken by the whole quicksand thing, we should split you up. How 'bout I go with Lindsay and Beth, and Gwen can paddle back with Trent?" Cody said to us. "Sounds cool." Trent said while walking with me. "You guys could get someone to swim behind the boats and push them. I did that once for this huge like, sixty-foot yacht; the whole crew had to flutter kick for like, eight days to get to shore. And like, four of us got eaten by sharks. I didn't. Not me. But it was really insane. Okay, later!" I heard Izzy say to the other team. My team began paddling for victory. We were winning.  We were half way across the lake when suddenly the other team passed us with their canoes stacked on top of each other. The Bass were cheering then they crashed. "The Bass are the winners!" Chris yelled. "You cost us the game! You are dead!" Leshawna yelled at Izzy. "Right. Okay, you are so lucky that my license to kill is currently expired." Izzy told her. Damn, she's even killing people. Crazy. A while later we had the ceremony to vote someone out. "And now, the always anxiety-inducing marshmallow ceremony. When I call your name, come and get a marshmallow. Beth. Trent. Gwen. Cody. Owen. Heather. Leshawna. One last marshmallow. The person who doesn't get this marshmallow will walk off the Dock of Shame and take a ride on the Boat of Losers. Who's it gonna be?" Chris said. I was holding my marshmallow and eating it in peace. Trent was standing next to me, smiling wickedly. I was confused at what he was smiling at. I followed his eyes to see what he was staring at. He was eyeing my mommy milkers. I hid them. Thankfully, he stopped. A helicopter flew above us. "Izzy! We know you are down there! You are under arrest!" The pilot said. "You mean all that trash you were talking was true?" Leshawna asked. "No. Just the RCMP part. See ya! You'll never get me alive!" Izzy yelled. "Well. That wraps that up. Night everyone." Chris said. We all walked back to our cabins and got changed. I was done getting changed in my oversize clothing and I turned around to see that Trent was standing behind me, smirking. I was obviously scared so I didn't say anything. He walked closer to me and I backed up. He got so close to me that he pinned me up against the wall. I couldn't escape. But then someone barged through the door and yelled "What do you think you're doing!?!" I looked and saw it was Duncan. I was relived and thankful for the rescue. Even though rejected him, he was still cool with being friends. Trent and Duncan started fighting. Fist fighting. Duncan told me to get out of there and go to his cabin. I ran as fast as I could, racing to the Bass's cabin. I ran inside and closed the door, locked it and hid behind a bed. The guys were asking what I was hiding from. I just told them to shut up and act like I wasn't there. They did as I said and trusted me. We heard banging on the door and I told them not to open it. I asked what the figure looked like out side in the light. They said he has a mow-hawk. I then told them to open it then close the door and lock it quickly. They did as I said. And Duncan ran in and hugged me. He told me I was safer with the guys in there. I told him I would stay and he let me sleep in his bunk while he slept on the floor. I really hope this doesn't happen again.
