"Last time on Total Drama Island... Things really got cooking between the campers. Heather pushed Leshawna too far in the cook-off challenge and ended up one chilly mama. Owen had a hard day. Geoff led the Killer Bass to victory. And the Screaming Gophers got to the bottom of their losing streak. It was buh-bye, Beth. Have the Gophers broken the curse? And just how much trust do they have in one another? Find out this week on Total. Drama. Island!"

After swimming in the water for a while, I had gotten out and dried my self. I took a long warm shower to let myself relax one last time before the drama begins again. I walked out of the bathrooms, dressed and a towel hanging over my shoulder. I saw a group of people huddled around something. I walked over and asked "What is that?" I looked down and saw a hole in the ground. A creature living in it. It started to move and everyone backed away at the same time. "Alright campers! Head down to the Main Lodge please." Chris asked us. We all began racing to the Lodge. My towel flew off my shoulder but I didn't stop to pick it up. I kept running. I was the second one to make it into the Lodge. I quickly sat down and waited for the others. All of the others got into the Lodge and sat down with me. Chef walked in and said. "Today's breakfast is Hawaiian-Italian fusion casserole!" "You mean leftovers from the cooking challenge?" I said. "Yeah, that's right! You got a problem with that?!" He yelled at me.

"Sir, no sir!" I replied. Heather sneezed. "Need a little echinacea?" I asked her. "Ha, you're so funny. You think that you can just lock me up in a freezer and get away with it? I am gonna make you sorry that you ever met me." Heather threatened me. "Too late." I told her flatley. "You are such a... a... a... achoo!" Heather sneezed "Ugh! I hate this place!" she yelled. I was looking around, minding my business. Until I saw Courtney and Duncan talking. Jealousy flowed through my body. " We're one player short and I don't wanna lose because you feel like going all criminal on us." Courtney was screaming at him. "Pfft, whatever. You dig me." Duncan replied. "Ugh! Why do I even bother?!" Courtney walked off. I turned my focus back to the slop that was served to me. I rolled my eyes. I started to pick at it with a fork. Chris walked in and told us "Everyone! Please head down to the dock for the beginning of your challenge today!" We all got up and walked out of the Main Lodge.

I picked up the pace when I heard the same footsteps that belonged to Trent. I got beside someone I trusted and gave them a uncomfortable look. That way they would know what I was talking about. I didn't really know who it was but I think I was next to Leshawna. I knew that the person looked back at Trent and gave him a nasty look. We made it down to the dock and got into the positions Chris told us to get into. Unfortunately, I was placed next to Heather. As disappointed as I was, I had to pay attention.

"Hi. Chris, here. Sometimes teams just don't get along. So the producers and I thought the best way to work through the group friction would be... to exploit it for laughs! This is gonna be awesome!"

Chris walked back from somewhere and looked at all of us. "So, last week's challenge exposed a few Gopher issues. And I'm sensing a little something funky floating in the Bass pond, too." He told us. "So, this week's challenge is going to be centered around building trust. Because all good things begin with a little trust." He snickered devilishly. "There will be three major challenges that will have to be completed by two or more members of your team. Normally, we like to have the campers choose their partners, but not this time! More fun for me!" He explained. He lead all of us to a big wall with rocks sticking out of it. It was a rock climbing wall. "Okay! So for the first challenge, you'll be doing an extreme freehand rock climbing adventure! DJ and Duncan will play for the Bass. Heather and Gwen for the Gophers." Chris said. "Ugh..." I muffled. "Here's your belay and harness." Chris handed us. I looked over at Duncan, who was holding the items. He shrugged and smirked. He gave me like an "Oh well" type of look. I laughed and walked over to the wall. I was holding the items then Heather snatched them out of my hands. "Hey! What's your damage?" I asked her.
