"Last time on Total Drama Island... Twenty-two campers arrived and learned that they'll be spending the next eight weeks at a crusty old summer camp. The campers were faced with their first challenge, jumping off a cliff into shark-infested waters. And while most campers took the plunge, a few were forced to wear the dreaded chicken hat. At the campfire ceremony, it all came down to two campers. Courtney has experience as a C.I.T. in summer camp, but refused to jump. And Ezekiel managed to tick off every female contestant at the camp win his sexist comments about women. In the end, the first camper voted off Total Drama Island was Ezekiel, proving that homeschooling and reality TV don't really mix. Who will be voted off this week in the most dramatic campfire ceremony yet? Find out tonight on Total. Drama. Island!" Chris said to a camera in a happy way, then he turned to us and went to a "serious" face and said "Alright campers, I need you too act like your in bed and I wake you up. MOVE! MOVE! MOVE!" We all got to our cabins, got back into our pajamas, and slept. It was about an hour sense Chris told us to act like we were sleeping. Most of us actually fell asleep, until Chris woke all of us up with an air horn. "Morning! Hope you slept well." Chris yelled. Leshawna popped her head out the window and yelled Ow! It's seven in the morning! Do I look like a farmer to you?" Leshawna had bumped her head on the top of her bunk bed. We all got up again and got ready...again. After we all walked out of the cabins, Chris had told us to get in a line before they began recording. We lined up with our teams and got ready to act happier than ever. Chris walked in front of the line " Hi, Chris. You look really buff in those shorts." Heather said. "I know." Chris replied. "Okay. I hope you're all ready because your next challenge begins in exactly one minute." Chris said to all of us. "Oh, excuse me. I don't know if that's enough time to eat breakfast." Owen said. "Oh, you'll get breakfast, Owen. Right after you complete your twenty kilometres run around the lake!" Chris said excitedly. Eva began to slowly walk towards Chris with her fist up, ready to punch him. "Oh, so you're funny now? You know what I think would be funny?" She said before Courtney pulled her back and whispered something to her. Eva turned back to Chris and said "You're enjoying this, aren't you?!" "A little. You have thirty seconds." Chris said. Chris forced us to move to a line and we got in a steady position, ready to run. "Okay, runners! On your marks, get set, go!" Chris yelled. We all went off sprinting, some of us jogging. I on the other had began walking at the start. Harold and some other people were also beside me, walking. "Do you know how much longer?" Harold asked me. Bridgette ran past me and Harold. "Don't walk beside me." I spoke to Harold, angrily. I began to get closer to Heather as I kept walking. " I don't run. And I definitely don't run in high heel wedges." She said. There was a puddle of water on the ground, Owen was kneeling next to it and drinking the water. "Can't... Catch... Breath. Must... Have... Condition!" He said. "Yeah. It's called overeating. Look into it." Heather said while walking over him. "What's your excuse, you skinny... Annoying... Ooh... I'm too tired for insults.'" Leshawna said while leaning on a tree. "Pick it up, people! If you're not back by dinner time, you don't eat!" Chris yelled while driving by us on a four wheeler. "Mmm... I hate him so much." Heather muffled. I was close to the Main Lodge so I started running  to be there on time. I sprinted through the door and walked in. I noticed that Bridgette, Trent, and Chris were already there before me. I walked over to Trent and started talking to him. "Hey" I said, out of breath. "Hey" he said back with a smile. "How was your run?" He asked me. "Ugh, tiring, what about you?" I asked. "About the same thing." He laughed. "It smells really good in here, like 'real' food. Don't you think?" I asked Trent. "Yeah, I smelt the exact same thing when I got in here." He replied. "Clear a table, stat!" Owen yelled as he walked in with Noah on his shoulders. Leshawna walked in after them and rested her head on the door way. "Oh... We made it!" She said. She walked in and plopped down on a chair. Harold walked in and he was holding his hand on his chest. Courtney walked over and yelled at him. "What took you so long? We just lost the challenge!" "I think I'm having heart palpitations." Harold said while taking deep breaths. It took me a hot minute to realize something. "Hey, wait a minute. If they lost, that means we won the challenge!" I cheered. All of the Screaming Gophers cheered with me. "Whoa there! Hold your horses, guys. That wasn't the challenge!" Chris said, interrupting our cheers. "What did he just say?" I said.  "Who's hungry?!" Chris said while opening a curtain, revealing a buffet of food. Turkey, beans, pancakes, syrup, you name it! It was on the table. After a few hours of eating, the table was empty and we all held our stomachs. We were all full from devouring the food that was presented to us. Chris walked in and said "Okay, campers! Time for part two of your challenge!" "I thought eating was the second part." Owen said with his mouth full of food. " What more do you want from us?" I asked Chris. "Weird goth girl is right. Haven't we been through enough?" Heather said. "Um... Let me think about that. No! It's time for... The Awake-a-thon!" Chris said. Than man has a death wish.  "The what-a-thon?" Owen asked. "Don't worry! This is an easy one! The team with the last camper standing wins invincibility!" Chris said.  I puzzled it all together and said "So, what you're saying is the 20k run and the turkey eating frenzy were part of your evil plan to make it harder for us to stay awake?" "That's right, Gwen!" He responded. "Man, he's good." I said to myself. "Move, move, move!" He yelled. Everyone ran out to the campfire pit besides me and Trent stayed in the Main Lodge for a bit. "So, how long do you think it'll be before everyone's out cold?" He asked me. "Bout an hour, give or take." I told him. Owen walked past us holding his stomach in pain. "Maybe less." I corrected myself. Trent and I began to walk to the camp fire pit. It took us a while to walk up to there because of the pain in our stomachs, but we had to continue. Once we arrived we sat down near a log and saw that everybody else was half asleep, like we were. "Woohoo! Stay awake for twelve hours?! I can do that in my sleep! Woohoo!" Owen yelled before collapsing an falling asleep like a baby. "This is the most boring thing I've ever done in my life." I said. "Could be way worse." Trent said. "Oh yeah? How?" I asked. "I could be stuck here without you to talk to." He said. This made my face go to a reddish pink color. I looked over and saw Duncan giving Trent the death eye again. I groaned and basically told Duncan to "take a picture, it will last longer". I looked to the other side and saw Lindsay standing on her head. "What are you doing?" I asked. "Trying to get the blood to rush to my head. Heh... I think it's working." Lindsay replied hazily. "Can I try?" Beth asked. "Sure!" Lindsay said. "Lindsay, Beth, can I talk to you for a sec?" Heather asked both of the girls. She led them in a private place so none of us could hear them. "I'm going to the bathroom." Eva said before standing up. I saw that she had dropped her MP3 player and didn't notice. Heather walked over, and acted like she was stretching, she bent down and sneaky picked it up. "Um, isn't that Eva's MP3 player?" Lindsay asked Heather. "Yup." Heather said evilly. "Well, isn't she gonna get like, really mad when she realizes it's gone?" Lindsay asked. "That's exactly what I'm counting on." Heather said. Many people fell asleep, Courtney was jogging in place, trying to keep herself awake. Tyler randomly screamed for no reason, he was probably was dreaming. Chris walked over to us and said "Congratulations, campers! You've made it to the twenty-four hour mark. Time to take things up a notch! Fairy tales!" He pulled out a book and read, Chef slowly shuffled over in a full ballerina outfit. I couldn't help but laugh. "Oh, he's not serious!" I said. Chris cleared his through and began reading, Chef was in the back playing the harp to make us sleepier than before. "'"Once... Upon a time... There was... Inside this boring kingdom...A boring village. And inside this boring, sleepy, village... Filled with very boring children... that did very... Boring things." Chris read. He kept reading until mostly everyone fell asleep. Trent and I were still awake, thankfully. D.J had tied himself up on a tree. While Chris was reading, he fell asleep and the tree had fallen down with him. "Timber!" I yelled. I turned to Trent and asked him "Okay. Favorite song?" "'She Would Be Loved'. Favorite color?" He asked. "Um... Midnight blue." I replied. "Ooh, mysterious. I like that." He said. This made me blush even more than before. Just talking to him made me blush.  I yawned. "Aw, don't fall asleep. Okay, quick. Favorite movie moment?" Trent asked. " You're gonna think it's cheesy." I told him. "I promise I won't." He said. "Okay. The kiss at the end of that road trip movie. You know, the one with the guy and the three girls?" I told him nervously, knowing he will judge me for it. "I know the one!" He laughed "You like that movie?" Trent and I looked over and saw that Sadie and Katie were sleeping and had synchronized snoring. "Oh, cool. They even fall asleep together." Trent said. Trent started to play his guitar that he had brought with him. "You still awake?" He asked. "Yeah. It's weird, but I think I'm so tired, I'm not tired anymore. Does that make sense?" I told him. " I really have no idea. Where's the Little Dipper again?" He asked me. "See the Big Dipper? Follow the handle to that bright star, the pole star. And it's right there." I said while pointing to the sky. "Ahh... Cool." Trent said. I pointed to Justin. "Look at him. He's like a statue. He hasn't moved in over... Fifty hours! Hello? Yo!" I yelled at Justin. "Yip! Yip! Yip yip yip yip yip!" Trent joined in. "Amazing. Look at the concentration." I said. I looked at Justin's blue eyes for a bit until he opened hi real eyes. I let out a big gasp. " His eyelids are painted! I saw it!" Eva yelled. Chris walked over to Justin "Shut up! Oh, I've gotta see this. That is so freaking cool! But, you're still out, dude." Chris said. I saw a figure and notice it was Duncan. He was holding a cup of water in his hand. He was running over to where Harold was sleeping and slowly placed Harold's hand in the water. I saw a wet spot slowly growing on Harold's pants. "Gross, it works! Dude peed his pants!" Duncan yelled causing Harold to wake up from his deep slumber. Harold ran to the restrooms, faster than I saw him run a few days ago. I heard kissing near me and looked over and saw that Noah was kissing Cody's ear. That's cute, but kinda gross sense they were both sleeping. They woke up and screamed. The scream echoed through the island. "I'd kill for a coffee right now." I said. "What is the matter with you people?" Chris said before taking a sip of his coffee, he continued. "Come on, fall asleep already!" I quickly crawled over to Chris and begged " You've gotta hook me up, man. I'll even eat the grinds! Anything!" He looked at the other 4 people that were still awake and said "All right, you five stay with me. The rest of you go get a shower, for heavens sake. You stink!" He took another sip of his coffee then said "I didn't want it to come to this, I said that to Chef Hatchet last night, I said, "Chef, I don't want it to come to this. But darn it, these campers are tough." And so... I've come up with the most boring, sleep-inducing activity I can find." He pulled out a book about Canada. ""The History of Canada,"" He said. "A pop-up book. "Chapter One: The Beaver" National symbol and a "dam" fine hat."" He told the 5 campers sitting on the ground. We all groaned.  "Stink." I said. A little while later Chris was still reading in a soft voice and at a slow pace. " "Which of course, was the precursor for the discussions..."" Heather fell asleep beside me ""...leading to War"" Chris finished. Trent was about to fall asleep. " "...of 1812."" Chris said. "No!" I screamed. But I was too late, Trent a knocked out. "Don't leave me!" I said, losing hope of winning this challenge for my team. "Time for a bathroom break! Any takers?" Chris said. "I've held it this long, sweetheart! I can go all day!" I voice said beside me, it was the one and only...Duncan. "Yeah, but can you hold it for another ten chapters?" I replied in a slick way. "You've got five minutes. Long as you don't mind a little company." Chris said, pointing to the camera crew. "Fine. But stay out of the stall." Duncan said to the crew. They nodded and followed him while one of the other crews stayed to record me and Chris. After a little bit, the camera crew walked back and handed Chris a note. "And we have news! It Looks like Duncan's taken a dive on the can! Which means the official winner of The Awake-a-thon is..." He paused until I collapsed. "Gwen! The Screaming Gophers win!"  I feel asleep for the rest of the time, untill the next day.
