Chapter 30: Grandma

Beyoncé.

"What is she doing in Atlanta?" I ask under my breath.

Kelly grabbed my face and made me look at her. "Don't worry about her, let's just have fun" she says.

I nodded. "Right, this night is about us" I smile.

"Let's go find the girls" kelly said taking my hand taking me towards the VIP section that solo had gotten for us. I had managed to turn and catch another look at Nicki, I turned back around when we made eye contact.

Oh shit. Maybe she'll keep her distance.

"We saw y'all dancing out there, look like you guys were gonna fuck in front of half of the club" Lala laughed. I shook my head and chuckled.

Kelly took another sip of champagne, I looked around at everyone having a good time and I couldn't help but be curious about Nicki.

"I'll be right back, I have pee, that liquor went right through me" I say as I stand up from the booth like seat.

Kelly looked up at me and gave me a weird look.

I turned and walked towards the bathrooms and I could feel Kelly staring at me as I was in her line of sight. I turned a corner and ran straight into someone.

"Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry I wasn't paying attention" Then I saw who it was. Of course, just my luck that it was Nicki.

"It's fine Beyoncé, really" she laughed. "You okay?"

"Yea, you?"

She brushed herself off. "I'll live"

"Nicki what are you Doing here?" I ask.

"I'm here with my boyfriend" she answered pointing to fine ass man sitting at the bar. "What're you doing here?"

"Umm I'm here with Kelly"

"Oh your still with her?" She crossed her arms.

"Yeah, she is" I about jumped out of my skin when Kelly appeared behind me.

Kelly grabbed my hand and pulled me closer to her. "Matter of fact, we're engaged" Kelly showed off her diamond ring. "Hi my names Kelly"

This could get bad fast.

"Engaged? Wow that was fast, I didn't think you guys would make it to this , congrats" Nicki said a rude tone.

I rolled my eyes. "Look let's just go Kelly, she's not worth it" I said.

"That's not what you said when you left her to be with me" Nicki commented.

Kelly stepped in front of me. "You know I'd actually like to thank you, if you two would've never happened My fiancé here would've never known what she missing in the first place me, it has and always will be me"

Kelly turned to me to grab my face and pulled me into a kiss.

"Damn" I say as she pulls away.

"Whatever" Nicki rolled her eyes and walked away.

The rest of the night went on without a hitch, We didn't even get home until a little after 3 a.m. I don't remember the last time We all had that much fun together but I'm glad we were able to do it.

Kelly and I both crashed in bed without changing into normal clothes. I woke up to hearing my alarm go off at 9 o'clock in the morning.

I groaned and sat up, I laughed as I looked over and Kelly's sleeping form.

"Girl you is knocked the fuck out" I said out loud

She moved onto her side and opened her eyes.
