Chapter 5: The Engagement Party

Kelly POV

I rolled over in bed and sighed heavily another sleepless night. I looked over at Beyonce, I was so jealous of her being able to get a nights rest. I grabbed my phone from off the nightstand and saw that it was 3 o'clock in the morning.

At least I slept for a while. Sense I couldn't sleep I got up and went downstairs to watch some tv. I made sure that the volume was down  so I wouldn't wake anyone up. After a while I had fallen right to sleep.

Beyoncé

I woke up and turned towards Kelly. "Morning baby" I said with the goofiest grin but when I actually opened my eyes, she wasn't there.

I pulled the covers off of me and put on some pants. I looked in Faiths room. She wasn't there but on the bright side of things Faith only woke up once last night.

I crept downstairs trying to wake anyone up. It was only like 5 maybe even 6 o'clock in the morning now.

I smiled at the sight I saw in the living room. Kelly was knocked out on the couch with the Tv remote still in her hand and her leg hanging off the couch. There's no way that she would be comfortable.

I sat down on the edge of the couch and lightly tapped her. "Kelly" I stroked her face.

"Baby" I said in kissing her face. Her eyes opened and blinked a few times. "Good morning" I smiled.

"Hi" She said groggily. She rubbed her eyes and sat up. I kissed her lips twice. "Mmmm" she groaned as she stretched.

"Baby, did you not sleep again last night?" I asked. I had noticed that she hasn't had a full night sleep since Faith was born.

"No" she said bluntly. She laid her head on my shoulder.

"I'm sorry baby"

"Don't forget we have my appointment today" she said with little less sleep in her voice.

"I know"

"I think I'm gonna go hop in the shower" she stood up. "Is faith still sleeping" she asked.

"Yep knocked out"

"Thank god, if she wakes up and she's hungry I was able to pump some milk for her the other day, that's in the fridge" she said.

She hadn't told me she had started pumping.

"You're pumping?"

"Yeah I mean I don't t really have a choice, and I thought it be best to try to do both you know especially because I'm going back to work in a couple months"

"I know I just didn't think about it" I said.

"It's fine"

"Anyway go shower and I'll have a warm cup of coffee for you when your done"I smiled as I kissed her cheek.

After Kelly went up to take a shower. I had started making some breakfast in the kitchen. I was halfway done when Solange had walked in holding faith.

"I saw she was awake and couldn't resist" she said kissing faiths cheek.

"Well She is your niece" I said putting the bacon on a plate.

"She's so adorable" she squealed.

"Of course she is" I said going to the fridge I pulled out a container of milk labeled "breast milk"  I poured it into a bottle and handed to Solange.

"Try And See if she drinks that" I said.

"Okay" Solange slowly put the bottle in faiths mouth. The bottle was shaped like an egg to mimic the breast so she'll have an easier time trying to adjust.
