"The only thing that keeps me sane is either violence or fucking... so unless you wanna bend over for me, I suggest you let me go." He whispered harshly against my neck, pressing me more against the wall with his body, making my breath hitch.

I've always led a safe life. Whether it was always following the rules or never putting myself into situations that would wind me into trouble – it was how I had grown up.
But what I was doing at the moment was anything but safe. I was tailing Jace's car. After following Caden, I had found him standing outside the restaurant we had been at. After a while, Jace's car had pulled up in front of him. I had made sure to park a safe distance away from where Caden stood and thankfully he hadn't noticed his car. He had been too engrossed on his phone to pay attention to his surroundings.
And that's where I was currently – following Jace's car. I was behind two cars to avoid being spotted. All those books and movies sure are coming in handy today, I thought.
After a few minutes, Jace turned his car towards a more run down area of the town. It was the part of the town that everyone avoided due to his risen crime rates. Suddenly the idea of following Caden didn't seem as appealing as it had been a couple of minutes ago.
I slammed on the brakes when Jace's car came to a stop in front of a huge warehouse like building. Quickly turning off the headlights, I watched as both of them stepped out. There were a lot of other people who stood in some sort of a line, waiting to be let inside but not them. They walked right up to the front and headed inside. The guy at the entrance who was obviously a security didn't even try and stop them.
Turning off the ignition, I stepped out of the car hastily. Thankfully, I still had on Caden's jacket. I didn't need prying eyes on me in a place like this. Quickly pulling my hair up into a messy bun, I locked the car and headed towards the warehouse, praying that I wouldn't get myself into anymore trouble at this point.
Getting closer, I could feel eyes on me, but I paid no attention to that. I stood at the back of the line, avoiding eye contact with everyone around me. I could feel their gaze penetrating through the side of my head and some trailing all over my body, but I willed myself to stay put.
Reaching the door, the security guy did a once over, looking at me from head to toe before gruffly asking for money. I didn't even know what the hell I was paying for but nevertheless, I dug out a fifty from my pocket and handed it to him. Nodding his head towards the door, he gestured for me to pass through. That was easy, I couldn't help but wonder.
Maybe it wasn't as bad as the scenarios I had made up in my head. Letting out a sigh of relief once I was inside, I followed the group of people in front of me. They looked like they had been here before. On the inside, the place looked like it was some sort of a rundown warehouse but there was a huge door in front of me. A lot of noise coming from inside and my curiosity peaked.
The closer I got the more clear it became. The inside was huge. My mouth hung open in fascination as I took in everything in front of me. It was built like some sort of an arena. Rows and rows of people stood standing and sitting, people around me were shouting and cheering. Deafening screams were breaking through the walls. The air around me was a mixture of sweat, cigarettes and alcohol.
