Chapter 24 [Rerise And Respect]

"What the actual fuck?!" Rui said as she just knocked out a guy unconscious "There's no end with these guys!"

"They just keep coming!" Jun exclaimed as she punched her enemy straight to the face

"Hahahahaha!" the man laughed "Do the both of you really think I came unprepared?" he said

"Technically, yes" Rui answered bluntly as she shrugged 'At this rate we won't be able to join Toman in fighting Moebius' she thought

'Ken-nii will be safe. Please, Takemichi. I'm counting on you!' Jun thought "Just what do you want, old geezer!" she said

"OI! I'M ONLY 29!!" the man exclaimed in anger

"Not to us!!" Rui and Jun both said  in unison "You look like 40 than 29!!" they added

"Well, no matter. "The Dragon" and "Rose" of Twilight will soon be defeated, right here, right now!" the man said as he smirked

'How did he-' Rui and Jun both thought

'No. Impossible, even without my mask and Twilight uniform on, he won't be able to recognize me?!' Rui thought

'Even though Rui is in casual clothing and I'm the only one with my Twilight uniform and mask on. He should only be able to recognize me and not Rui?!' Jun thought

"I'm afraid that will be impossible" someone said behind him and he turned around to see Kana in her Twilight uniform, her hood was down and her hair was tied in a messy bun, her devil kitsune mask covered her face

"Finally, you made me wait too long. Empress of Twilight" the man said which made Rui and Jun's eyes go wide in shock

'Nobody knows that Twilight's leader is a girl, except for all admins and top executives of Twilight and just recently all members of Twilight already know that the supposed "Emperor of Twilight" is a girl. Kana herself revealed it to everyone...' Rui thought

'Kana only recently revealed her real gender to all Twilight members and everybody from Twilight still respected her. Despite Kana revealing her real gender they still called her "Emperor". All members even swore to never spread the word that Twilight's boss is a girl...So how?' Jun thought

"I see. So you have spies planted in our gang, yes?" Kana said, in monotone

"Hah! Why would I do that when I already know who you are from the start, Kana" the man said

"What??!?" Jun and Rui both said, which made them even more confused and shocked at the same time

'Kana uses the name "Alex" given to her by Mikey as a pseudo name. But, this man just called her by her real name and not by her pseudo name!!' they both said in their thought

"Then what is your goal, if I may ask?" Kana said as she slowly walks to him

"My goal? That's easy" the man grinned "My goal is to take your father's loved one's away"

"My father?" Kana questioned "What has my father ever done to you?"

Before the man could answer, they heard sirens not too far from the location they are...

"Well, seems it's time for me to go" the man said as he turned his heel to go but

"You are not going anywhere, until you answer my question" Kana said in a dark tone, as she held the man from his shoulders

"Master!" they heard someone exclaim. Jun, Rui and Kana turned to see a boy their age holding a gun pointed directly at Kana. And as if time went slow, the trigger was pulled, the sound of gunshot echoed...
