Chapter 70 [The Beginning of The End]

3rd POV:

"What's the patient's status?"

"Unconscious due to blood lost, a gun shot wound to which trails near her shoulder blade!" the paramedic said

"Oh no! Someone call Doctor Agatha ASAP!!" 

"What should I tell her, doc?" a nurse asked in worry

"Tell her to come here but don't let her enter the OR is that clear?"

"Hai!"

"Bring her to the OR immediately!" the doctor ordered

"Yes, sir!"

"MIRA!"

"Izana calm the fuck down!"

"I will not!"

"Kaku, tell Izana to stay calm, right now!" Kana exclaimed "Mira will be fine! SO STAY STILL!!"

"But...I don't get it...Knowing Mira-nee, she won't go down with just a simple gun shot wound..." Baji trailed 

Kana, Rui and Jun stayed quiet, the trio were contemplating whether to tell the others who don't know that Mira is pregnant with Izana's child. Jun opened her mouth to say something but someone already beat into it.

"Mira's fragile at the moment." Izumi said, behind her were Kisaki and Hanma with slight bruises

"Izumi, Kisaki and Hanma." Kana acknowledge "What happened to Alen?"

"Oh, him?" Hanma questioned and then grinned widely "He got hit!"

"Is that so?" Kana muttered 

"Oi. What do you mean Mira is fragile at the moment, Izumi?" said girl sighed and stared at her twin, who was glaring at her. His eyes demanding an answer

"No. I should not be the one who should tell you." Izumi said

"Tell me now!!! Izumi!" Izana demanded once again

"That's enough!" the teens turned around and saw Agatha, Shina and Mira's mom

Agatha walked towards them and sat down on the bench, "Hello, Izana. How long have I not seen you?" she greeted with a smile

"Mira missed you ever since you two lost contact months after you left Black Dragon's when you were the 8th Leader." Agatha said "You cut your long hair, and it suits you but your long hair suited you better. Even when Mira was still not your girlfriend, many girls flirted with you. Same went to Mira but with boys."

"I still remember, that you always visit our home and then you always hang out with Mira and Shinichiro, so tell me, what happened to you when Shinichiro died?" Agatha asked

"Shinichiro betrayed me!!!" Izana said in anger "I found out that the mother I've known, who raised me and gave me up to an orphanage, is not my real mom!!! And that I am not their brother!!!"

"Wait...So Izana-kun is not Mikey-kun and Emma-chan's brother...?" Takemichi mumbled

"Yeah! That's right! I am not related to them one bit!" Izana said

"Related or not! You are our brother!" Mikey said "When Emma was little she saw you as her brother but when you left she was broken and that didn't made it better when her mom left her at Gramps Dojo. Shinichiro and I tried to make her feel comfortable and happy, Baji, Kana, Shina and Mira-nee too!"

"And I will do the same too you! Even if it means continuing our fight until you are beaten to you senses!!" Mikey exclaimed which earned full silence from everyone, it was their first time witnessing Mikey that angry. Sure, they experienced most of his angry, childish phase but this was entirely different from the two

The silence broke when the door to the OR opened, "Doctor Agatha."

"Doctor  Shun." Agatha acknowledge as she stood up "How's my daughter? Is she safe from the danger zone? Please tell me!"

The doc smiled and patted Agatha's shoulder, "She's out of danger and we're moving her to private room later."

"What about the little one?" Agatha asked

"Little one?" Izana muttered

"The little one's safe as well, a fighter like her mother." Doctor Shun smiled once again then his gaze fell on Kana and the others "Then please excuse me." he bowed

"Thank you, Shun." Agatha said "Thank you for saving them both."

"Just now...? What did he say?" Kaku questioned in shock

"Agatha-san..." Izumi trailed "Should we tell them?"

"Yes, maybe we should." Agatha said and faced the teens "Mira- my daughter is pregnant. She's currently 1 month along."

"Hah...So that's why she suddenly disappeared for a month without contacting me..." Izana said

Kana watched as Izana sat down on the metal bench and propped both his elbows on his lap, his head down and he was in deep thought. Agatha went near the bleach-blonde boy and hugged him. Izumi did the same and while giving her twin a hug, she looked at Mikey and gestured for him to go closer to them, when Mikey got closer, Izumi pulled him and they hugged Izana. The others stood and watch the interaction, Kana, however, smiled and then turned her back and quietly left. No one noticed her leaving except Kisaki and Hanma- to which followed female quietly as well.

Takemichi, somehow, noticed the three leaving and decided to follow them until they were out the hospital, "Hiromi-senpai!" he called out

"Hm? Hanagaki?" Kana said

"Uhmm...Thank you!" Takemichi bowed 90 degrees 

"For what?" Kana questioned

"Everything!" Takemichi said

 Kana stayed quiet and then she told Kisaki and Hanma to go on ahead. She then once again faced Takemichi and said, "Raise your head Hanagki, I just did what I can but this is where it stops, right? I mean Hina is safe and Kisaki's no longer obsessed with her. That's why, raise your head, Takemichi."

Said boy raised his head and then stared at Kana, he saw that her eyes were empty and dull, like Mikey's eyes during Bloody Halloween. 

"My job here is done, Hanagaki." Kana smiled as he patted his head and then turned her back as she started to walk away but stopped midway

"Takemichi."

"Hai?"

"If you go back to the future, stay away from bad things, okay?" Kana said 

"Eh?" And without any more words Kana left Takemichi confused with what she said

As she walk away, she raised her right hand and gave him a back wave while saying, "See you soon, cry-baby hero."
