Chapter 26 [Long Time No see]

Shina POV:

"So..." I started as both me and Baji sat on the swings at a nearby park while Chifuyu plays with Sou

"Long time no see, I guess" I said awkwardly

"Yeah" Baji answered 

And it went silent again...

*sigh* This is really awkward

Then I saw something shine on his neck, without any words spoken. I reached out to his neck and pulled out a....necklace

"This..." I trailed and he suddenly held my wrist, making me yelp quietly and also resulting to me letting go of the necklace

"You still have that?" I questioned quietly. He then let go of my hand and pulled out the necklace himself

"Y-Yeah" Baji stuttered which made me laugh

"Oi!" Baji exclaimed flustered

I then reached out to my neck and pulled the same necklace but different color

"You..." Baji trailed

"Yeah! I still have it like you!" I smiled and we both laughed

(The black one is Shina's necklace while the white one is Baji's)

"You cut your hair" Baji said after we laughed

"Yup!" I said as I twirled some strands on my hair

"It's quite weird, isn't it?" I said "My hair was knee-length long but I decided to cut it and now my hair is shoulder-length"

"And what's weird with that?" Baji said

"Eh?" 

"The only thing I find weird is that, why did you lie?" he said as he stared on my red colored eyes

I looked away and directed my gaze to where Sou and Chifuyu are playing with each other like siblings...

"I can't tell you at the moment but..." I trailed as I looked at him straight in the eye

"But?"

"Don't do anything that will lead to you hurting yourself" I said

"Huh? What do you--" before he could finish his sentence I cut him off

"Kisaki Tetta" I said and his face turned into a frown and annoyance "I can't tell you anymore details"

"Why?" he questioned
